OK I see the majority of replies are dudes but to be blunt as a girl:  
Don’t fake it.  
You won’t like it, she won’t like it. I know a few have said this and it’s true.  
Others have said play your strengths and that’s true too.  
Yes looks are important at some level but in the end we’d rather spend our time with someone enjoyable not someone stunning and boring.
 
Above all else: Don’t make friends with girls expecting it to turn into a relationship and when it doesn’t, get mad.  
No one owes you a relationship and that’s ok!  
Honestly everyone’s experience is different and not all advice will work for you, but I wish you the best of luck!

I was also hoping that there might be a single girl who might say different.  
Out of all the girls I know they say looks are the most important, second is money. Keep in mind I live in a “ghetto” area where guns and drugs are prevalent even among kids below 10yo.

I actually have a girlfriend, and her and I have been happily dating for 4.5 years (with this thought occurring to her once, but we talked it out and we’re okay now).

To me, being not a virgin means that you are a kind of person that somebody has been able to become close to. I don’t wanna say that being a virgin means you’re socially incompetant though, sometimes there are other circumstances.
 
I personally never got close to anyone as of yet, because I’ve been shy. Growing up with an autistic immigrant father doesn’t help as well. I’ve been a lot more bold in the social world these days. I’m mostly focusing on making friends, but this virgin-status is gonna change quickly enough as long as I don’t turn into a desperate sour puss.

Many do seem embittered by it. I mean it’s not like sex is some magical, godly experience. Or if it is I’m clearly not doing it right, but to me it’s just a biological process. It’s fun yea, but nothing to rage about if you’re not getting it.
 
I know I’ll probably be inundated with lines similar to “that’s easy for you to say since you’re actually getting some” but trust me guys it’s nothing that special. No more so than anything else humans do.

There is no shame in being a virgin. Acting like it’s something bad or to be ashamed of only increases the likelyhood that you’ll force yourself into a bad relationship, and warp your values when it comes to romantic partners.
 
There is, however, shame in being a bitter douchebag.

Everyone compares potential mates with others, like past mates or friends. That’s a common thing among both sexes.
 
I’m noticing a lot of people seem to have this very warped sense of reality.

Which is why only rich people have babies, and poor people’s family lines end with them.

Oh I forgot to mention money. Women only like men with money. You have to be well off in order to get a girl.
 
Also remember that women compare men with other men in society. So if you meet a girl, she will compare you to a friend’s friend’s friend’s boyfriend/husband. If you don’t make/have as much money as him, she’s rejecting you.
 
Lastly, women hate men who don’t physically engage themselves in society. This is because women require an interaction to society, and that prefer their man to go and present himself to other people.
 
TLDR, Women only like money. They want guys to make it for them. Women like real life communities, that they want their guys to be a part of (I don’t know why).
