I’d say that the definition of “modern” depends on whether you mean absolute or relative time.

-If absolute, Zootopia was the last thing Disney made before the modern era. I think. That’s about when they started going woke.
-If relative, “modern” is 10 years.

I was thinking more of really old western csrtoons like from the 1980s. I havent even watched many modern western cartoon movies except a few. I’m obsessed with retro stuff.

Pokemon is always cool since it has animals or better yet talking animals. Something I was obsessed with as a kid including cartoons like Kung Fu Panda

(It’s pretty dumb to dislike movies for being woke too, but not even being able to identify them is on another level.)

And to me, “modern Disney” is since it went all-CGI with Tangled. Not sure when that will change.

I dunno, it’s weird and certainly off topic, given the thread we’re on. I guess when you go on tangents, it can be hard to realize, and Cosmas may have confused this Stupid thread for the regular one

Someone accidentally posted non-pony related thing here which happened to involve Disney because that’s the holy grail of American animations. Disney being so controversial, started a chain of Disney related discussion.

Rarity’s generosity is directed towards her being willing to help others, unless it was something that would harm other ponies she would accept.
