I take back all the bad things i said about IDW this is gold

It’s a very important reveal that could indicate that IDW may have been given a new contract for future publications with one-shot issues and arc issues that could be based on G4, G5 - and perhaps G1, where they create new things without influence the existing lore in “leaps” outside the main lines. Since Bellow is out of the dance - Mdah has “executed” her with his leak about her “bible” dated from June 2021 - this could be a tribute/apology by basing the comic on her novel about how Cadance became an alicorn.

What we do know is that she was an orphan, discovered by earth ponies who took her in and raised her in their village, where as a young filly she was very well liked with her personality and ability to spread joy and love around her. No one knows where she came from, she was a pegasus filly, but there is plenty of evidence that she has a connection with the Crystal Empire which at this point had been lost for several centuries. Especially when she got her cutie mark which symbolizes a connection with the Crystal Heart. But as she grew up, she discovered that love has a counterpart, jealousy.

Earth ponies can use magic, even if it was indirect, and one witch, Prismia, was so jealous that she chose to become evil, to steal someone else’s love with the help of a necklace. Cadence confronted her, and in the end won - and reformed the witch who then promised to become a better pony. We don’t know much about the circumstances of this, but this followed her ascending to the mysterious dimension where she met Celestia and became an alicorn.

There could be a lot of new things in the upcoming comic, even if the plot were to be based on the novel.

Maybe silver quill is getting disillusioned

This thread is dead. So I’m gonna revive it with this. Damn, is Mane Event so bad Silver-Quill skipped out on it? It’s been like 12 days. Maybe he didn’t pre-order it is one thing but even then he doesn’t take long to post his review.

If it were g4, they wouldn’t notice the bended reality and stand by it.

So what I really like about the new story where Pipp and Zipp magically switch lives is that they immediately tell the rest of the Mane Six about it and their reaction is: “That sounds weird but we believe you.”

Always nice when characters don’t act stupid for the plot’s sake.

It’s like everyone forgets how standoffish and cryptic Zecora was in her first episode. If she had just introduced herself and explained things like a normal pony instead of acting weird, there would not have been a misunderstanding.

I don’t think racism is the right term here, unless we’re counting ponies with different coat patterns as separate races.

I’ve had mixed thoughts about the character since I saw >>3069994. I don’t understand why someone would say something like that. It reads like they are begging for praise and I find that very off-putting. Okay, you created a pony with dreadlocks and an unusual coat pattern. So what? Why is this praiseworthy? It’s a character’s personality and actions that matter.

Then a certain individual in the comments got away with being a condescending prick to everyone who said anything remotely critical and well, let’s just say a good first impression was not made.

So, if Sunny and her friends are learning about Dream Valley, would that really be Prehistoric Equestria or an alternate universe as claimed by Generations? The latter makes little sense considering most official AUs by every show and comic are never thoroughly explored.

But in any case, regarding Generations, did the ponies, witches and Trench cross universes or time?

Jeremy has returned. And this time, the G5 cast will learn about Prehistoric Equestria. Not Ancient Equestria, prehistoric. Megan will most likely not show up. Or the witches. Or their daughters.
