Elon Musk bragged about blowing the lid off the Twitter/Hunter Biden Laptop conspiracy today.
And what he provided amounted to “Biden team” getting Hunter’s dick pics taken off of Twitter.
So basically, not only did the Funny Meme ManTM not open the info dump by screaming “THE LAPTOP IS REAL!” while Can We Get Much Higher plays in the background, all the controversy about is daddy Biden wanting to get what amounts to porn posts of his son taken off Twitter. Posts that violate Twitter’s TOS anyway.
Imagine that. Musk let us all down again.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has been speculated to try for 2024, especially if Biden doesn’t run for reelection.
He has announced that no, he won’t regardless of Biden.

While the SCOTUS is set to let the student debt relief program stay or drop, Biden has announced that he is extending it until June.
Young people came through for the Dems in the midterms and the Dems are now thanking them for it. Neat.

And also the more time they waste on Benghazi 2.0 the less time they take more of our rights away.
It also increases the chances of this happening.
I’m not kidding whatsoever when I say just bring Hunter Biden’s laptop in to testify in front of a committee.Right wing talking heads have been screaming “SQUIRREL!” over that thing every time another controversy in the Republican party crops up so I say call their bluff. Bring the thing in and just let the camera pan over it as Republicans on the committee no joke start asking it questions. Hell, play some eerie music when it’s on camera just to complete the jest.Alt-reich talking heads over at Fox News or Breitbart will be falling over themselves to keep up the distraction even as their most dim in the audience begins to realize what a nothingburger the thing really has been.
Do it. Have Qaren ask the thing questions, only for the camera to cut to the laptop while Jason’s theme plays. Have PizzaGaetz asks if there is any photos of kids on it, you know, for a “friend”, and then give the laptop a shot from the back as the Halloween theme plays. Have Bobo honest to god try and play bad-cop asking where it was on the night of blahblah, and the response is the laptop seen at a dutch angle while the Saw theme plays.
I need to see how all the talking heads from Hannity to Shapiro tries to frame this exact scenario.
I kinda just gave up after he went on a prolonged tour bragging about how he almost killed his wife and that’s why you should vote for him, or when he said dismissed the Green New Deal by saying China will just take all our good air and have their bad air waft over to America.
For real.
Can someone tell Clarence Thomas, traitor, and Moscow Mitch that there are easier ways to divorce their wives?

US intelligence suggests that Russia held off withdrawal from Kherson till after the midterms to deny Biden a political “win”. Likewise, Russian top propagandist also admits to the above.
Just in case you were wondering why Republicans have already admitted to cutting aid to Ukraine if they take the House.

Of all schadenfreude in the world, this is another. Imagine not only is Moscow Mitch sad at losing his Precious, but also losing the runner up spot? Imagine him retiring right after?
I need this like you don’t even know.

To emphasize how good Dems have done despite the odds, look at history. Every president since FDR has lost House seats in their midterms with only 3 exceptions. The Senate gain/loss is all over the place, but here’s the House tally for the last 40 years:
Carter 78: -15
Reagan 82: -26
Reagan 86: -5
Bush Sr. 90: -8
Clinton 94: -51
Clinton 98: +5
Bush Jr. 02: +8
Bush Jr. 06: -30
Obama 10: -63
Obama 14: -13
Trump 18: -40
Biden 22: TBD, currently -6
Reagan 82: -26
Reagan 86: -5
Bush Sr. 90: -8
Clinton 94: -51
Clinton 98: +5
Bush Jr. 02: +8
Bush Jr. 06: -30
Obama 10: -63
Obama 14: -13
Trump 18: -40
Biden 22: TBD, currently -6
Excepting the gains made by Clinton in 98 and Bush in 02 which, mind, is only due to 9/11. Bush admin hardly deserves any cred, Biden is on track to having lost fewer seats than any president in 31+ years.

Speaking of House seats, Bobo’s race is now 99+% counted and she’s losing by a hairline 64 votes. A relevant FYI for the “my vote won’t make a difference” crowd.

Most elections shaft the youth vote, and in turn the youth don’t vote.
Biden gives out a tiny bit of student debt relief, a concept that disproportionately favors younger adults, and the youth vote comes out of nowhere to block the projected Red Wave.
Nice.

Sometimes I love the internet. The title “‘Joe Biden’ has been dominating a niche fighting game for years” is an example why.
Now, some gamer calling themself after a famous figure is not news. An actual news outlet asking the White House if the mystery player actually is the POTUS is news, as is the fact that the White House did neither confirm nor deny.
That’s right. First Brandon was Dark. Then he was Dank. And now he’s MLG.

I mean, it’s honestly worse if he really is a cop and not another internet cosplayer (FYI, I’m dating a supermodel. Always believe what you see on the internet).
Pelosi and “The Left” (assuming he means Democrats) have got to be the greatest asset the police have. It was Joe “Crime Bill” Biden that exploded police authority back in the 90s. It was basically a carte blanche to throw anyone (mostly blacks) in jail, usually with the flimsiest excuse if someone was in possession of drugs. Biden to this day, as president, still defends the act.
Both Biden and Pelosi, as well as Democrats at large, increase police budget every year. That includes the 2020 year where Biden ran on “Funding the Police!” in direct rebuttal to cries of Defund.
Related to the above, the Democrats have been the biggest reason police accountability goes nowhere. The Dems, being the ostensive “Leftist party”, sets the overton window on what is political acceptable. Them playing gatekeeper on “lefty” policy means whatever policy to the left of their center-right ideas get no political traction, and yes that includes police accountability.
So yeah, if BGP really is a cop then that thumb is celebrating the assault on the very people that lets them stand around and not stop school shootings.

An adorable take after both the recent news that Arizona cops arrested a 72yo grandma for the high crime of feeding homeless people, and the old news that Pelosi was a vocal opponent against Defund the Police.
But while on the subject, Paul Pelosi is currently in the hospital undergoing emergency brain surgery.
And what have recent news in the right-o-sphere been? Well if you remember that Fox News’ response to one of CNN’s buildings being bombed by a Fox News viewer was to blame CNN for it, not good.
Larry Elder, radio host, tweeted a joke about how hammered Pelosi both was during his DUI and today.
Greg Kelly, Newsmax host, made a now-deleted tweet that it was a staged attack by Nancy Pelosi.
Texas representative Michael McCaul goes on Fox News to blame the Dems for letting “dangerous criminals out on the street” for Paul Pelosi’s attack. For the record, the attacker has a history of believing basically anything the Republican party has said. Especially the conspiracy theories. So yes, I agree with McCaul, it is wrong to let “[The Standard Republican] out on the street”.
And just when you think you’ve hit peak crazy, there is always the frog off to the side ree-ing. Here’s Qaren reiterating the above point that it’s Joe Biden’s fault for letting so many violent criminals (translation:Average Republicans) just run free. Of course basically saying “It’s the Dems fault we are attacking them!”
2 years later they are still pissed off they failed to end America’s democracy.

Oh they’re snorting the copium harder than that
Per the article:
“We borrowed $1.4 TRILLION last year. That is not an accomplishment — it’s a reminder of how precarious our fiscal situation remains,” Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, said in a statement.“The entirety of the decline in the deficit between 2021 and 2022 can be attributed to the expiration of temporary COVID relief, not due to a renewed era of fiscal responsibility,” she said, while estimating the “deficit would have been almost $400 billion lower had the Biden Administration not decided to enact an inflationary, costly, and regressive student debt cancellation plan in August.”
Yeah. They’re pissed off their go-to strat of “crash the economy when we’re in office, blame the Dems for it when they take over, then take credit for the Dems’ economic recovery” backfired this time as Biden’s economic recovery is happening sooner than normal, just in time for a Dem to take credit.

Note this was compiled soon enough to include Biden’s student debt relief. Even with that tacking on almost half a billion the deficit was still halved.

The US government is now having a security meeting about Musk’s acquisition of Twitter.
Considering Musk had to run to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and China to get the loan to buy Twitter (despite supposedly being the richest man in the world…), his purchasing of Twitter might be a threat to national security. If it is then Biden has the power to kill the deal altogether.
For the record Musk has lost $100 billion off of this entire Twitter fiasco in half a year, a little over a third of his wealth. So yeah, that’s another way you know he’s really a Republican; he’s terrible with money and needs a Democrat to bail him out.

Well Republicans are trying to convince people that they have a platform by releasing a list of things they’ll investigate if they retake the House. Over 70! So yeah, they won’t be doing any legislating or anything, they’ll be “investigating”. At least the things they are “investigating” are some major problems right? Well, some of those are:
The “Biden campaign”“Big Tech”“Bad actors” at the FBI“Legacy media”Merrick GarlandAnthony FauciCompanies that complied with information requests from the Jan. 6 committeeThe U.S. Chamber of CommerceHunter BidenThe origin of the coronavirusCOVID school closuresTreatment of school closure protestersAfghanistan exitJan. 6 committee spendingWeapon sales to UkraineBorder securityHomeland Security Secretary Alejandro MayorkasEducation Secretary Miguel Cardona“Politicization” of the DOJInflationEnergy
All of those are so vague they mean nothing. I mean “The Biden Campaign”? What does that even mean? When he ran in 2020? Oh that’s it. They’re still stuck in the Big Lie.
Once again all accusations are confessions. They accuse Dems of being stuck in 2016, while they literally can only relitigate the 2020 election over and over.
That and look how many are related to the Jan 6 investigations. Vague as those are, they are still admitting they are pissed off their coup failed and that people are not happy they committed treason. The longer these traitors aren’t rotting behind bars the more they’ll continue to end our democracy.

Naturally, Qaren has been responsible for a third of those. According to Farron Cousins she’s also responsible for introducing the first one on her first day on the job on Jan 3…17 days before Biden was even sworn in.
For the record Trump had only had 13 articles introduced against him in the entire 4 years of his term. Biden’s not even completed his second year yet. I’m now wondering what the record is.
An important thing to note though is that not a single one of those has actually levied a criminal accusation against Biden. The only rationale any of them used amounts to angry fits of pique.

In the latest “Republicans literally are real life examples of the Evil Cannot Comprehend Good trope” news, Fox News decided to air a message of Joe Biden trying to help his troubled son Hunter a few years back after Hunter lied to buy a gun.
Sean Hannity on Monday aired the 2018 voicemail, obtained by the Daily Mail, in which Joe Biden says to his son: “It’s Dad. I called to tell you I love you. I love you more than the whole world, pal. You gotta get some help. I know you don’t know what to do. I don’t either.”
Of course broadcasting the Biden’s family issues on live television wasn’t enough, Hannity then had to make it about conservatives’ victimhood fetish.
“It’s actually sad,” Hannity said of the message. “Now that voicemail reportedly came at the exact same time Hunter lied on a gun application to buy a handgun.”“By the way, replace the name Biden with Trump and imagine how the mob and the media would be covering all of this,” Hannity added. “Instead, they’d rather perpetuate one hoax after another, just like they did with the dirty Steele dossier.”
This is sickness coming from a very sick man.
Oh and because Reich-wingers today are an incestuous orgy of a hive mind, expect every Reich-winger talking head to follow Hannity’s lead on this narrative.

Trump once again sides with his special master (no not the other one. Putin) over America, blaming Biden for “almost forcing” Russia to invade Ukraine.
Relatedly, Trump’s former national security advisor Michael Flynn calls Putin “bold” while Zelensky a “fool”.
Imagine that. The party of traitors are throwing their own nation under the bus. Again.

In other news, reports indicate that Russian men avoiding the draft are primarily fleeing to Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan was welcoming but tentative of the number of men already leaving Russia over the last few months, but with refugees fleeing now numbering in the 10s to 100 thousands it’s stressing the small country’s resources and economy.

50 seats now means it only takes one half of the Manchinema dyad to stonewall the Dem agenda.
Gaining a 1 seat majority means both parts of Manchinema will have to join their Republican buddies to stop the Dems.
If the Democrats get 52 seats then Manchinema loses its kingmaker powers, and the Dems can go tell it to go touch grass. As long as the 50 actual Democrats in this hypothetical vote in lockstep then they can use Harris VP tiebreaker to pass certain policies that only needs a simple majority to pass.
Speaking of, the face eating leopards are back as Republicans are pissed at Manchin and vow to “destroy” him in 2024.
Manchin did all he could for them as the good little Republican he was. He blocked Biden’s agenda after agenda. Shoot, during Trump’s 4 years Manchin voted for Trump’s agenda roughly 51% of the time. Manchin was and is the GQP’s most valuable agent in sabotaging the Democrats, but because his programming malfunctioned one time and Biden got to pass the Inflation Reduction Act they’re pissed at him.
And I’m all for it. Fuck Manchin.

Trump had an interview with Hannity last night.
As always, Trump is an idiot. Among other things, he said that the president has the power to declassify things just by thinking it. He’s been continuously doubling down on his claim that he declassified them, and now this is what he’s got. I honest to God would pay all my money to be there to see his face if someone simply responds to him by saying that Biden reclassified them by thinking it.
Among his rambling word salads he also confessed that the documents were meant to go to Mar-A-Lago. Again, confessing an intent behind their abduction and very much not an accident.
He also said that the FBI was looking for Hillary’s emails. At Mar-A-Lago. I keep saying that Trump is so ungodly stupid that he simply knows only a few things and he keeps going back to them be he literally does not know anything else. This remark does not dissuade my theory.
But some good news, not only did an appeals court slap down Judge Cannon’s attempt to block the investigation into Trump’s theft of national intel, but Judge Cannon’s rewrite of her order to incorporate the appellate court’s decision, when translated from legalese that I had to have explained to me, basically render’s Trump’s case moot. He can’t block the investigation, period.
