So don’t try to take the moral high ground. You didn’t admit your mistake until I dropped the hammer Trice and the Mods got annoyed.
 
And frankly, someone keeps putting up “Implied Gay” tags, even though anyone who has watched the show after season 5, and looked through this comic, would know Torch is Not the Dragon Lord, Ember is Dreg Lord by succession, which translates to something logically Obvious: it’s a Translation Error, and Ember is telling Spike to give her the Sunblock coating.
 
Hopefully, this sticks.

As I said, as is verbatim in the Deviantart page, Ember’s line is:
 
“¡El señor dragon te ordena que le ayudes a ponerse bloqueador solar!”
 
The word in question that causes the confusion is “le” which is read in the translator as a male pronoun as opposed to “la”, which is read by the translator as a female pronoun. This isn’t uncommon in Spanish since Gato an Gata both mean cat, but GatO signifies it as a male while GatA signifies it as female.
 
While I was mistaken about the Senior part in my earlier posts, this is actually the part that automated translations point out and is the actual source of the word “him” in the comic page.
 
Sure, he wrote dragon lord as meaning a sex-neutral term (since they didn’t call Ember “Dragon Lady” as would have been proper), but the translation problem isn’t even stemming from that word.
 
So as you can see I’m not denying that he wrote dragon lord as sex neutral.
 
However your quote doesn’t fix the actual confusion making part of this translation, for which he give no explanation.
 

 
I’ve henceforth admitted my earlier mistakes and more directly addressed the issue at hand with the submission, so I hope the mods don’t nuke this comment as being “off topic”.

“Senor” is ALSO used in Unisex Titles, to describe a “Lord”. You’re trying rather hard to ignore what the actual Artist outright STATED as a Fact.
 
The Spanish Language doesn’t actually have a Proper referral to “Hes” and “Hers”, relying on the “Title” to give that, which when run through translation software, results in the software adding in “Him” even when the character is female.
 
BOAStudios outright said the use of “Senor” was for the Unisex title of “Lord”, as it was used in the Spanish MLP translations, even when Ember was Dragon Lord.
 
The fact that you ignored this:

, which came from BoaStudios himself, tells me that you don’t want to accept truth even from the artist, if it doesn’t fit into your agenda.
 
Because that’s what seems to be your “Deal” here. You have an agenda and you want to push it.
