Do you worry Sunny will fall into the same trap a lot of protagonists fall into in being kind of bland compared to all the other characters?

I feel sunny has the potential to develop like twilight
Twilight’s personality was pretty neat so hopefully they give her a more distinct one since in the comic she was fangirling hard

Me too. Actually, all five of them are my favorites! I can’t choose just one.

I really want to rewatch Make Your Mark, but I can’t find a good place to watch it and I don’t want to pay money for Netflix

(grin) Well, if I’m honest, that’s how I feel, too. For example, even though I always said in G4 that Starlight, Trixie and Sunset were my three favorites, I didn’t love Pinkie Pie any less because of that. Or the other Mane Six. And all the many very lovable side characters.

I think I had this in my profile for quite a while, too: I don’t believe in Waifus. What I meant by that was that I really didn’t like having to choose between any characters. After all, you love everyone for the different strengths, weaknesses and character traits. Will say: I just do not believe / think in extremes. That’s why there is nothing best or worst for me. And therefore of course no clear favorite.

But I still have to say, Izzy is very, very close to my heart. ;-)

with the newest short, it’s about time she can use her wings and horn at will now.

When Sunny was in school, her teachers didn’t like her because she was constantly causing trouble and being disruptive with her activism.

I don’t think magic coming back will automatically make a story better. By putting many many magic elements, it could affect the environment and the narrative.

To me, Make your Mark works because of the character dynamic and how concerned Posey Bloom and other ponies are with magic coming back. The only problem I have with the short, apart from some technical and composition issues, is that I wish it could be funnier. While one or two jokes made me chuckle, I wish it was really funny, like A New Generation.

Wow, today’s episode felt longer than usual and for me that’s a good thing. It is good to see Earth Ponies using their newfound plant-growing abilities, even though it is hurting ponies who make a living selling plants.

Eh, I don’t know. I still think flower power is kinda lame. Honestly, I’d rather earth ponies not have magic at all.

So it seems like Possy isn’t a racist anymore, just a bitch in general lol

Yes, they would. Especially if there was somepony in Ponyville with the same power level as Isabela from Encanto (as I’ve said here, I’m a bit ignorant when it comes to pop culture, so my references aren’t the best ones). Just one stomp potentially could make all kinds of rare plants and trees grow.

So…

The flowers end up glowing and changing color after Dahlia ends up sneezing on them, and it ends with them being sold and ponies wearing them?
