Le epic zipp playlist not being family friendly lol

It leaning into the pop pop fits here since shes so sheltered. all the playlists have alot of common pop since kids playlist, but theres always a few songs that are specific to the characters personality strongly.
-Zipp has alot with Beggin’ (represents her more rebellious aspect with a harder themed song which is the only song in any playlist to have a swear), Ballad of Mona Lisa, rockerfeller street nightcore (which is a fun character revealing bit LOL)
-Hitchs being themed about positive throwback tracks for him to listen to with sparky (unfortunately has no smooth jazz), but he has one song non fitting, being monkey wrench from foo fighters which is very rebellious unlike his usual M/O
-Izzys has alot of positivity songs (doi), but she also has alot of songs relating to family which is interesting. in that themeing she has a more bold choice of “born this way” ( which has extremely blatant lyrics ;) 🏳️‍🌈)
-(sunny and pipps not sure)
-and ofc mistys is very obv of loving life now and connection to others, plus the standout track of brown skin girl being very blatant with her identity and seperating from her opression

I think the goal is to have a collection of stories that have reached logical, satisfying conclusions. I’m happy with ANG. I’m ultimately happy with how the Opaline arc played out. I’m happy with how the Discord arc ended.

I think Sunny getting enough control of her alicorn powers that she could fight Opaline was satisfying character growth, and I think her being recognized by the Alcorns of Skyros would be a satisfying conclusion for her. There’s also this subtle idea that being a good activist doesn’t necessarily mean “rallying the masses”. It can involve little things, like getting a few people together to work on a project, or inspiring someone.

Misty’s had an amazing transformation, and I think her story ends with her having something to bond with her dad over, and helping someone overcome their own trauma.

Zipp became less avoidant and more willing to help others. This includes her gradually taking on the role of Sparky’s Mom. I think she ends up with Hitch, and there are a couple of different directions they could go when it comes to who rules Zephyr Heights. I need to read more of the comics.

Pipp has become less sheltered and naive. Again, there are a couple of different directions they could go.

I think Izzy’s story culminates in her producing some kind of masterpiece.

If all these plotlines are wrapped up at the end of Season Two, I’m happy.

I’m not sure she did. It was mostly a series of things that just sort of happened to her. That’s one of the reasons I liked The School; it represented her having some agency.

Would you say G5 has an end goal? Given how TYT is G5’s new identity it doesn’t feel right given its formula. I think it should have been MYM. Hardly any of the other 5 main characters don’t have a planed arcs. I feel like Sunny deserves more.

Also Twilight did have an overarching goal throughout FIM.

Not sure what’s incoherent about it.

ANG is the story of the Unity Crystals and the tribes reuniting.

MYM is the story of getting Magic under control, Misty switching sides, and Opaline’s defeat.

TYT Season One is miscellaneous side stories that happen alongside MYM.

TYT Season Two continues the various plot threads, including Misty adjusting to life in Maretime Bay, Alphabittle and Queen Haven and their kids becoming a family, Skyros, Allura and The Nova Charm.

The first 10 issues of IDW are the story about tracking down and defeating Discord.

Set Your Sail is about the Ocean Kingdoms.

Given that G4 had no overarching plot whatsoever, and the sheer number of things that just never came up again, your comment applies more to G4 than to G5.

It’s almost like the real problem is Hasbro making this gen without having any consistent plan for where to take anything, and the writers of these works are just collectively throwing darts at the wall to make anything make any kind of sense while gambling on the sheer hope that fans will just find some way to string all the madness and poorly thought-out world building into a remotely cohesive narrative that never actually existed behind the scenes.

Literally said that I don’t care for Discovery Family’s owners. Regardless, what do my feelings on corps matter? I just find it annoying when the wrong people or things are being blamed.

All known maps of Maretime Bay have never shown what is located in the south-west and west of the city area and surrounding area. We now know that it is where the beaches with the amusement park are located, where the terrain seemed to slide over into flatter land - there are cliffs and cliffs to the east where the lighthouse was, and to the north where there seemed to be a very short distance between the mountains and the sea . The old Hasbro map from G4 showed that there is swampland and estuaries on the west and south-west shores of Horsehoe Bay, which means it will flatten out to the west, on the ANG it was possible to see that the mountains appeared to be closer from the north, for looking towards Maretime Bay from the height where the lighthouse stood, no higher ground could be seen.

The map itself and the topographic conditions revealed that Maretime Bay had probably existed for a very long time, because Canterlogic is located on an artificial hill which can only be a mound called a motte, usually artificially constructed by piling up turf and soil. This means that there was a very old fortress there. Probably a motte-and-bailey castle as in old England from the 10th century. The old town was located on the underside of the castle, while the center of the town seems to be divided between an older and a newer quarter on either side of the main street. We know that there is a road from Maretime Bay deeper inland, which led to inner Equestria, which runs in a northwesterly direction. And there is probably a road to the west. There were certainly larger and more suitable port towns to the west, so Maretime Bay probably only had local importance in earlier times, possibly for fishing and trade. It was a holiday resort in the olden days, which the town still bears its mark.

But Maretime Bay was also a place of refuge to avoid unpleasant surprises such as pirates. The early castle, the town which was quite high above sea level and the topographical conditions are very similar to those found in many Greek towns which in ancient times were subject to pirate attacks. Maretime Bay was a Kastro. This Greek word refers to medieval fortified sites as a safe place of residence for permanent residents. And such castros do not have harbors. The best example is Athens and Piraeus, which in antiquity was the city’s marina. Many older cities in several countries around the world had their separate harbors, which are sometimes far away.

This basically means that there is a port location near the theme park - and we haven’t seen it. There are piers and boats there in the theme park area. After all, hundreds of tons of steel, wood, food, and so much more have to be shipped into Maretime Bay which isn’t exactly a “small” town, Canterlogic was a major manufacturing facility producing vehicle technology and whatnot.

We have only seen smaller parts of Maretime Bay - and almost nothing of the south-western part, which the writers had used as a “void” to expand the “world” first with swimming beaches, then rock caves, and then the amusement park. It’s a bit strange that the tram in Maretime Bay didn’t come to the beach in the south west, as it goes through the city and up to the northern suburbs.

That’s because one of the worst censorship regimes in Hasbro’s history has been created, so we know far too little and must therefore speculate on what little is known. But there is no doubt that something had gone very wrong, and that MLP had fallen far down the priority list at the time, while Hasbro is in trouble.

Yeah, no fan of Discovery Family’s owners, but I’m getting tired of them being this boogeyman for why we “can’t have nice things in G5”…when we have no proof of what exactly is going on with Hasbro and Discovery Family in regards to MLP.

Also, I think people are too quick to blame anything they wished happened on G5 on Discovery Family. Maybe Calla Lily didn’t turn into a monster at the end of issue 3 because the writers didn’t want her to?

That’s not an OC, that’s Queen Calla Lily from the comics.

The colors blend and compliment nicely.

Also many OCs run the risk of being too “busy” in their design when they add accessories, but I think this one has a nice balance.

The docks/pier would probably be near the beach, like Boardtrot, I think? Since the town is high up on the cliffs, you’d need to walk down from there to reach it.
