All right, so everyone here can be happy, I’m going to come out and admit I’m part of the cringey part of this fandom. I constantly play the victim and beg people for sympathy, and then I lash out at those trying to help me. It doesn’t make me happy to admit just what a total fucking asshole I’ve been for years now, believe me. I’m being mocked behind my back and I deserve every single bit of it. My art is absolute fucking shit, I’m a lazy fuck who refuses to get a job or a girlfriend, and I constantly expect others to validate me. I AM THE PROBLEM. There, I finally got it all out. I’m sorry that I made everyone’s lives in the fandom that much more miserable because I’ve been around, I really am.
 
I never seen you do anything cringey before…… well aside from some of your self-hating rants, I don’t know why you even do in the first place. But you’re a decent person as far as I know.

Nightweaver… You are admitting to mistakes yout have made. That’s a huge step up over others I’ve seen. I haven’t seen you harassing anyone or trying to seek attention. Your art is fucking wonderful, you don’t have to get a girlfriend if you want to, and while it’s not quite the time niw, I think you’ll start off good in a small job. I think you’ve been working on those issues of being rude and jerkish to others. You may have to work on it nore, but I think you’re getting better. Finally… don’t worry about others validating you. As long as you keep yourself humble and accept humility and responsibility when faced with a situation, be proud if who you are. Don’t let others dictate who you are as a person.

What is with people in cartoon fandoms and depression?
It seems like a chronic and universal ailment.
 
OK, here’s a possible (probable?) explanation: The people who identify the most with cartoons are those in desperate need of escapist fantasy. These are people who don’t want just, say, superheroes or light fantasy like CSI or sitcoms. They want deep fantasy, where it’s clearly an entirely different world, one they can lose themselves in completely. These are people who generally have something in their personal lives that they need to get away from, like abuse or a sad life situation. So they dive into cartoons to get away from it all, but they can never escape the feelings they really have about their real lives.

Ok, so i saw one of his blogs talking about the MLP Movie Trailers. This guy got nasty because of a 2 second clip of Starlight’s appearance. And i can tell this is one of guys who can’t accept others opinions because people in the comments section was telling him to cut it out with the Starlight hate. God knows how long he’s been doing it.
 
But you need some balloons from this pity party. Don’t say “Starlight didn’t ruin the show” he’ll take it as a personal attack on him. And he calls people “Soft and Fragile” even though he himself can’t handle opinions. He calls people immature, but he’s the one acting like he can’t take an opinion other than his.
 
And this guy made a follow up blog boo hooing about it. Nobody forced him to like her. No kidding, I read through that entire blog and i seen that no one was forcing him to like Starlight. It was just one big temper tantrum, victim playing, pity party of a blog on his end. His attitude was unwarranted.
 
Also, yeah i know, it seems like he has depression and has a lot to deal with mentally. I get it. But please don’t use it as an excuse to be hostile towards the people who say “enough is enough you’re acting like a child.” I read through that whole journal. Nobody was being hostile towards him about it. This drama was ALL on LighningSword.
 
Don’t even get me started on his blog about “Fame and Misfortune” That was so cringe.
