It’s the % characters in the links. To use links (especially on-site) type some text, highlight it, then click the link button, paste the link and it will embed like so
artist:cupute, pixel art
artist:cupute, g1
artist:cupute, g3

It also allows for loading any relevant on-site link to match what the users are on so they’re not “logged out”.

Just out of curiousity, is there a Fan of older generations badge and a Pixel artist badge?

Stuff straight out of a generator (or barely edited) is treated much the same as screencaps or random photos of merch in a store, and that’s not going to change.

Some stuff regarding AI rules will change in the near future, though, so I’m sure everyone on every side will have an opportunity to be mad all at once again.

This is the badges thread, my post was specifically about badges; I don’t care what goes on with AI whatever, I have all of those tags hidden already.

Last I recall when the whole AI issue started I thought it was mentioned that AI only uploads don’t qualify for an artist tag? I guess that’s changed now then? . . . guess that would also explain why there’s so much more uploaded here lately.

Yeah thanks, I was hesitant on commenting about it cuz I didn’t want to make a scene with the type of content that i upload, and some people just wanna start a war when someone just mentiones it, like Texasuberalles. but since I’ve seen others with the same content also having these badges. I just wanted to see if it’s possible to also get in on the fun.

Hi, speaking for the site, I’ll take a look at your ai assisted uploads and will talk with staff and we’ll let you know :) Right now, you probably do qualify for an artist badge, but we’ll check.

I think you’re in the wrong thread. If you want to talk about this please use one of the AI threads.

AI “creators” don’t even qualify for the word “creator”, they absolutely shouldn’t be getting Artist badges or artist: tags unless they also make actual art instead of just inputting suggestions into a glorified spellchecker.

Shade Partisan qualifies for Magnificent Metadata Maniac and Cool Crow. 14.6k metadata edits in 9 and half months is quite an achievement.
