I miss meaningful, intellectual conversations.

I think it would be beneficial if it’s used carefully, some kind of moderated blocking. Requesting someone to be blocked temporarily, or if it continues; permanently.
 
Things that are said that may not be deemed against rules by the reader but is instead in a grey area of nitpicking or borderline harassment. Like I have someone who knows things they say piss me off and do it just to see what they can stir up is highly annoying. One makes fun of me by not directly replying to me, but instead adding a subtle indicator after I reply as if they’re always on my tail or telling me that I should “go to Church”. That kind of offends me but may not offend most here. They also dislike me posting too, which why I say blocking is a good thing if done right. Won’t see my posts; can’t see yours.
 
Or perhaps when the only people that actually speak to me is when they have to disagree or bias because of personal reasons they can’t shake off. It’s extremely difficult to ignore specific posters who are adamant in trying to get under my skin over petty grudges or whatever their motive is.
 
There will be people that just simply do not get along and no matter what situation it is, there’s always an opportunity for a lash of words. Reporting doesn’t help an issue to me, it rarely ever has. Instead it adds more fuel over me and whatever that was said to me, or repeatedly said, is swept under the rug and still continues.

I really should find another forum and use this for mainly uploading. I keep forgetting that I do not belong. I’m starting to feel signs of bullying from a few and I’m not allowed to say anything apparently.
 
Those who sit by idly and wait for the right moment to be a dick to others just sickens me. I suppose I should just go around disagreeing with everyone I see and responding hatefully to it. Unfortunately I’d rather post what I feel and others can make the choice to ignore it. Instead it’s so tempting for some to start shit just because.
 
I just haven’t encountered a place like this that does not have a way to block another to simply remove the chance of accidentally reading what belittling thing they need to say. Humans will take whatever opportunity to show dominance I guess. I’d say it’d be a good thing to have; a block feature. Maybe the best way it could be used is to simply request the user to be blocked instead of just adding them there. I don’t know. It’s sad but I honestly can’t stand a few people on here when they respond to me and I try to ignore it.

I’m just going to say that I think it’s a bad idea to allow certain people to say whatever and pretty much harass someone without being allowed to tell them to leave them alone.
 
I really hate involving myself with mods, but how the hell is someone supposed to ignore a user who posts regularly right after the person they’re trying to pick at?

It amazes me how nice people are to others with depression but when I speak up with it, I get attacked or ignored. Interesting. Probably because I’m supposed to cushion it down to where it’s “nicer” than what it is, but I don’t understand social indicators very well.
