TLOU2 is what you get when politics determine the story :)

Now keep in mind, the gameplay of TLoU2 is alright, but the story is poorly written, like it’s a piece of badly written fan-fiction. Sometimes, a game can be ruined by a horribly written story (and/or long loading times); even if the gameplay in question is decent.

CD Project Red always had problems during release. Probably worse than now. Witcher 1 practically needed second release to be actually

It’s certainly not perfect.
 
Lots of models fade in and out, some have repetitive movements at weird times or questionable model shapes, lip sync is off on minor characters, and Jackie has a habit of phasing through things, doors and my player character.
 
No crashes, but slightly longer than necessary load times, mainly for fast travels.
 
Edit:Also, pre-hotfix, i was stuck on a quest because Jackie didn’t appear where he should have been. Before i forget.

No because I wasn’t around for the launch of Witcher 3, but I do know it had plenty of similar bugs and glitches, like falling through the map, Roach somehow ending up on rooftops.

Yup. They won’t let it go. So many are whining that LoU2 got “cheated” out of that award, since it was the only one not given by the talking heads of every major journo site. Watching them Writhe has been fun.

Even if Neil Druckmann got six awards to his “masterpiece”, you can tell he is still defeated that TLoU2 lost to Ghost to Tsushima in Player’s Voice Award (which some may say is sort of the real GOTY choice).

I am, on a Ps4 slim. There were a few bugs and graphical issues before the patch yesterday.
 
It still doesn’t look uber fantastic, but at least everything seems to ‘work’ more or less alright. Not far enough in the game to say it’s been truly ‘fixed’.
 
Though i am glad it was out out before i got into a serious combat situation.
