That number is rendered on the server. It typically measures things like database queries and rendering time, so it’s definitely not anything to do with you.

I get the idea byte[] probably knows what it was, though. X3

I’m not sure if it’s ping then, the number at the bottom of the site measuring something in ms? I just started using userscripts and it spiked from 30-60ms to 450-650ms.

How much slowdown is considered normal while using userscripts? I’m experiencing a massive spike in ping times, wondering if that’s normal.

Ooh right, you were talking about complementary colors! Sorry, I somehow missed that.

@The Equestrian Zodiac
Yep, the part of the script that add new CSS was broken by the CSP.

Now, there are two ways to get around it. If you use Tampermonkey on Chrome, or use Violentmonkey on Chrome or Firefox, you can install this modified version of the script.

If you use some other userscript managers or if the modified script doesn’t work for you. You’ll need to install browser extension to either modify or disable CSP for Derpibooru. For Firefox users you should follow Sollace’s instructions here in the ’additional note’ section. For Chrome users, I recommend installing Disable Content-Security-Policy.

That worked, thanks!

Still wish I could make a Glimmerbooru based off of her color scheme, but I don’t actually know which color codes would match hers.

Sounds to me like it may have been caused by the CSP.
I don’t use Stylish anymore after they came under fire for harvesting sensitive user data a while ago. And I’ve since switched to Stylus and can confirm the extension works with the site on Firefox.

@The Equestrian Zodiac
Do you have a link to the script?

So it seems that the script to display an image’s rating in prior to clicking on it is no longer working, which is kind of a shame, since it was a pretty nice script.

I recently switched back to Firefox and I’ve discovered that my old method of hiding certain links (mostly the threads dedicated to controversial subjects) is no long working in Stylish, and I can’t figure out how to fix it again.

Do you sometimes wish Derpibooru’s keyboard shortcuts can be customized? Do you sometimes wish for even more shortcut options? Or do you simply wish for a way to disable some of the site’s shortcuts?

If your answer is yes, then this is the script for you!

Derpibooru Custom ShortcutsGithub page

Custom Shortcuts is an userscript that enables the customization of the site’s original keyboard shortcuts plus many additional functions, including a keyboard navigation mode.

Installation
An userscript manager such as Violentmonkey is required.

Install from OpenUserJS
Install from Github

User guide
Upon installation, the script makes no changes or additions to Derpibooru’s default shortcuts. Instead users should open up settings panel with ctrl + shift + / to begin customization.

The script have 3 fully configurable preset slots, and the ability to switch between them with the keybinds alt + [1-3] by default.

By default preset 1 is preconfigured with the recommended keybinds, optimized for left hand operation, as a starting point for customizations.

Keyboard navigation mode
Toggle on and off with the Q key by default. When enabled, the scroll up/down/left/right keys can be used to highlight thumbnails on the image results page. Images can be navigated to with the E key, and the favorite/upvote/mute shortcuts will be applied to the selected image.

Special keybinds
ctrl + shift + /: Toggles the settings panel.

Esc: Deselects any input fields or text areas.

List of all configurable shortcuts
– Scroll up/down/left/right

– Enable keyboard navigation of gallery

– Open selected image when keyboard navigation is enabled

– Open selected image in new tab:
Due to browser restrictions, you need to use ctrl + enter if you want to open the tab in background.

– Previous/next page

– Open source URL

– Random image

– Upvote image

– Favourite image

– Go to index page containing the image being displayed

– Open tags for editing

– Save tags:
If you want to submit the tags while the caret is still in the fancy tag editor, the keybind must include the ctrl or alt modifier. Otherwise press Esc to deselect it first.

– Cycle through image scaling

– Mute/unmute webms

– Focus on search field

– Focus on comment form

– Refresh comment list

– Go back/forward in browser history

Updated my post. If anyone’s having problems with spoiler images not loading, please try switching to the new CSP values in my post.

I replaced Greasemonkey with Violentmonkey after seeing your post, and I’ve been liking it so far until I ran into problems with CSP restrictions and some page scripts seemingly breaking (on E621 e.g., I wasn’t able to open posts by clicking on them directly anymore – I had to do right-click and open in a new tab instead). Changing the injection mode fixed that for me as well though. Nice to see you can choose the injection mode for your scripts individually, that gives me some more possibilities as a web coder :)

I somehow got my scripts to work on Firefox now. Adding @inject-into content seems to do the trick, which is weird because I wasn’t able to get them to run consistently with it before.

In my investigation of the issues with Violentmonkey is that they have an option to change how the script is applied to the page that gets around the csp restrictions.

If you’re not using css at all, you can try that to get your scripts working without the need for Laboratory.
