I can peacefully enjoy something with “Melody” in its name without arguing with someone one that “Melody” is in the name. No one goes “It’s NoT CaLLeD MaNE MElOdY!” We all agree it’s called Mane Melody and has “Melody” in its name

I must be the only one who actually likes Thanksgiving. Even with all the craziness that happened during that time and all the conflicts, I still love the story of people trying to make a new home for their families away from persecution from society. It’s a bit relatable to me you could say.

Nope. Just the holiday we celebrate without addressing the harsher aspects of it.

I guess for me it depends on what you get out of it. I think its a little much to think Thanksgiving is about religious tolerance. Pilgrims were probably not too interested in that. They weren’t Quakers for sure.

I guess the real theme is the complex relations between Pilgrims, Natives and even non-Pilgrims or Strangers.

Definitely a mess, but an interesting one.

The complex relations was what I was referring to in my earlier post.
