Sunset shimmer will wear the crown and be defeated as a super villain in a fight where she alone have magic. Then she will be brought back to equestria because she is supposed to be a former student of Celestia school for unicorns. Maybe the other 5 ponies mirror characters will meet the Parallel universe’s Twilight and become friend with her after the pony twilight goes back to equestria.

Sunset Shimmer will be defeated, then she will bawl about how alone she is and now that she isn’t prom queen that nobody likes her.
Her self worth has been shattered and she has no real friends. Twilight will take pity on her and tell her that being prom queen doesn’t matter, having genuine friends is what is important.
Then the other five step up and offer their friendship to Sunset, who accepts of course.
Twilight and Spike return home while Sunset stays behind wih her five new friends.
Which explains why the other 5 ponies didn’t just follow Twilight, because then the movie couldnt end this way.
I hope nobody else thought of this first.
But more importantly, how do you think it will end?
