🤷. Also it appears the random order is due to the file names. Some appear to be named in chronological order, yet some appear out of order.

its over, they completely locked this accounts for public. my tool to get access without account, is also not working anymore.

Looking back through some files, it looks like TumblThree downloads posts with a slightly random order. How do we make sure everything is chronological for uploading? Or will the json files help with that?

I’m still finding stuff. I’m going to keep archiving until I run out of links myself. This is most likely going to be a gradual process. Who knows. Maybe it hasn’t ‘hit’ yet and the axe will drop suddenly, but it has been mentioned that it may simply filter as it goes.

Nuke is not yet effected, it seems that blogs will be removed gradually, in the course of the days\weeks. Archiving effort is still going strong (stronger then before in fact). Mature art will exist but not on tumblr (or at best on very shaky basis; I doubt that any adult artist will choose to remain on tumblr and argue with mods over every picture instead of going elsewhere).

Will mature art still exist?

Has the nuke gone into effect yet?

It runs fine on Win 7. With larger blogs (>1,0000 posts) it can some time get stuck. I’m guessing it might be de-duplicating or some other process. I extract it to a fresh folder and name it “template”. That instance is logged in, set to portable mode, connections 10, API connection 60 in 60. I have one master instance that I am pasting in URLs to prevent dupes. Any that have more than 10,000 posts don’t go in the master queue and get sent entered into a copy/pasted instance of that template (renamed with the name of the blog to keep it organized). It let’s me restart an instance if it gets stuck with out messing up the master list. That one is downloading all the smaller blogs as I pull them from manual browsing).  

 
I’ve been maxing at 10MBps (each on 2 PCs).

AFAIK mod blogs without pony content has been disqualified so far from being entered into the lists. It seems that there will be no immediate purge so maybe we will have time to archive some indirectly-related things.Have anyone made a list of modblogs? If not, maybe it should be made.

7 gets least updates nowadays, so from that point it’s better.

what system would be better for TumblrThree in your opinion - 7, 8.1, 10? There are pre-configured VMs from Microsoft.

I don’t know how to get it to work with wine, so I installed a windows 10 vm and doing this backup process through that.
 
I am going to be going to bed in a moment or 2, I am going to have my computer tower continue this backup process throughout the night.

Does anybody know, can you launch TumblrThree with Wine? I need\want to get those “opens in a sidebar” tumblrs, and AFAIK only TumblrThree can do it.

Ok thanks, I am still in the process, even though I am an Australian with scrublord internet, I am doing my best at this late. (maybe stage)

Anywhere from hours to weeks. If you can download something don’t stop, other than that we’ll know from news I guess.

I have nearly backed up all of the Tumblers that start with the letter Z, Y is next, that is if I have time……  
Does anyone officially know when times up?

Backing up lethanvas.tumblr.com is 21% done. Due to its sheer quantity it looks like it will take a while (and it has taken some while to get here). Some posts are getting lost because of “safe mode”(supposed workaround is not working) and “Error 403/500”, but I will run it until it finishes.

Sadly, there’s no reliable “priority” ranking of tumblrs. That’s what I was trying to do but my efforts were futile and nobody else even tried to rank them. There should be a spreadsheet of who-does-what in the first post. You can probably use that as a reference.
