They can’t use Sombra. They made a deal with IDW not to contradict each other’s stories.
 
She already did with a few other villains, but then he betrayed them, kicked their ass as well as the mane 6 and the princesses, and was only STEPS away from conquering Equestria when he spontaneously developed a change of heart. Anyway he is reformed now living with his old/new friend Radiant Hope. He’s pretty much Discord on the “lovable” leve now. Discord was actually reformed a month later.

Or maybe Chrysalis teams up with Sombra, who turns out to still be alive? I thought of that as her next outlet for vengeance since she no longer has her hive loyal to her and is basically on the run.

I’ve also figured out the best way to reform Chrysalis!  

 
There’s really no “don’t play by the rules hero” in the show. And Discord is more concerned with having tea with a Fluttershy pony than looking like a badass. S  
ome people don’t even want Chrysalis reformed because she gives the mane 6 a run for their money.
 
So what the best outcome for Queen Chrysalis. No where to go, but no reason not to finally accept friendship?

And it’s not just that. I have ideas for music, stories, even animations that seem genius to me.
 
Take this for example  
If I could simply add appacella vocals from the Smile song and So Many Wonders, put them in the  
Sonic Runners background theme “Spring Emotions” and add a few beats, I could get a whole NEW remix of the Smile Song!

Oh I hear ya.  
I myself have the skill, just not the resources. All I really have is a pencil and paper.

Oh my I have ideas. Just not the skill. Not that I don’t try sometimes. But I’m more so trying to rent the skills of artist acquaintances to bring some of these ideas to life. Communication has been painfully slow lately though, OR the people are busy. Not typically their fault but I’ve never been known for patience per se in interims and get anxious.

“Muffins” is the continuation of Cupcakes after Sgt Sprinkles passed it on to Reitanna Sienshin. It’s still pointless violence. But it actually has more depth and story than most grimdark fanwork.
