It feels like Khamzat has been way long due from hanging around bums where he usually flex his ego by threatening top contenders after killing all those weaklings.

I was pointing out about what I expected out of Khamzat’s hype train like a human bulldozer, the same way he slept Meerschaert or ragdoll Li on such top elites like Burns. That’s just what literally everybody expected out of this. Also in terms of his invincibility, the other hype, was also shattered because he’s able to get knocked down and get bled. That means he still got very long way to go to get in to the like of Covington, Usman, or Adesanya. Burns may have brought down Usman before but Usman overpowers that knockdown with a much stronger KO of his own.

Right now, the only closest anime character I know that I can closely resemble to Chimaev is Zaraki Kenpachi from Bleach. The crazy guy who loves to fight, who gets bored to tears when he fights weaker people, who gets utterly pumped up when he finally met his match or someone overpowers him and goes apeshit when he’s badly hurt.

Khamzat was ranked 11th (not even top 10er) against the NUMBER TWO!

I dont think that should kill the hype. That should do the opposite. Now it is clear that he’s contender material. May be a little rough around the edges sure, but what do you expect? This was the first time he played with the big boys and already he was facing the third best guy in the division, and stole a close victory.

Bruh this is an Anime moment, bruh. This the moment when the talented protagonist realizes he needs to level up his game if he wants to eventually beat the best.

The 2nd round knockdown by Burns was the crystal clear proof that the hype train got officially derailed.

But what intrigues me is Khamzat successfully goes for a takedown at the final second of the round after getting rocked by two really nasty punches by Burns.

And now as expected. People are now booing Khamzat because he “robbed” Burns. People making excuses about how much punches he landed and how strong it was on Khamzat to which I couldn’t blame them.

For me, this fight was a stalemate. Every minute and second of each rounds these guys are just bringing up the heat in that octagon.

I hope Khamzat will finally learn his lesson not to look down and underestimate his opponents anymore because fuck man… he was also violently rocked with some of Burn’s strongest shots in 2nd and 3rd rounds.

You’re gonna go again like that to the apex predator of the pound for pound divisions Usman? He’ll get fucking rekt soon.

But still, yet again, Khamzat’s chin is incredibly tough as we just saw.

Fight of the Night definitely. No doubting it. That was the highlight of the entire card.

Fuck the actual main events, Khamzat vs. Burns IS everybody’s fucking main event.

Khamzat is fucking eating all of Burns’ hardest shots several times in the third round bruh, now we know just how tough his chin really is.

Everytime Khamzat gets seriously hurt, he smiles because he gets pumped up. His lust for battle becomes more intense. He hasn’t fought anyone in his life as tough as Burns.

Anyone of them was one solid hit away from getting slept. Burns was gassed, Khamzat was rocked, they were bleeding, they were throwing killers shots…DAMN

Also my mom was cringing at me for going apeshit in the living room after that 1st round knockdown by Khamzat. ;D

Our anime protagonist just finally found a formidable opponent from a boring lopsided fights in the past.

So this is as far as this hype train can go… So many people (myself included) believed about a brutal first round KO of a ranked fighters as he smesh his way up to the entire WW division.

He’s probably just gonna be Khabib-tier in terms of hype.
