Bring them back and make them good fighters. Pokemon Rangers used to go only for Grass-types and they got retconned to be quasi-Ace-Trainers (Because it kinda makes sense when you think about it, they’re meant to be well-versed in handling Pokemon).

It was okay, they did outlevel by 2-3 but I suppose that was to compensate for the fact that they had a lack of full-rounded coverage (no Ice, Flying, Water, or reliable Fighting and Bug move).
 
Anyone who uses legendaries to fight the Elite Four should be mocked 10/10 tho.

Honestly, her Champion theme is better than Alder’s (which isn’t saying much because it sucked). I’m just miffed that I forgot that her Haxorus has a Focus Sash so my Haxorus y Haxorus moment was stopped short because of that.

I literally recycled that suggestion from years back. And I still think it’s a pretty neat one.
 
Also, can we have a first gym leader that gets treated like shit by everyone and by the sequel, becomes the Champion who by then is just waiting for someone to beat them to relieve all of their bloodlust? And as a bonus, make them look like an aged-up version of the protagonist archetype.
