Why should they be past that? They’re kids. Tweens at the most (probably like 12, 13 at the absolute oldest). A lot of kids that age regularly do dumb crap, think only of themselves, and push their boundaries anyway they can.

Was it just a script error, ||Chrysalis calling Tirek a “minotaur,” or an insult in the sense of “you’re not a real centaur?” Discord used the word “centaur” soon after, either way. ||

You do remember that that little endeavour was kinda considered to be a terrible idea that AB barely survived, and the episode ends with AJ saying that Smith was likely going to ground her for a month for it.

Well… I’m not sure that Starlight could’ve made Tirek (at that level) lose a tooth, like Twilight did.
 
Twilight’s very likely surpassed Star Swirl in power, considering he couldn’t do shit.

last episodes are on my stream site of choice, so i’ll be going through them at my leisure, starting with growing up is hard to do(ain’t that the truth).

That’s at least a good lesson.

So with episode 22 while it is logical given how the episode was presented, that only Twilight and Fluttershy were able to travel to Applaloosa, it’s kind of a missed opportunity to have the CMC as adults interact with their siblings.
 
That being said I do like the (more than likely unintentional) cyclicalness that the first CMC adventure was about the CMC getting lost that costarred Twilight and Fluttershy while the last CMC episode does the same

And for episode 23, does Sugar Belle have any family? I mean all that was on her side of the alter were the CMC and the remaining members of the Equal four or whatever the name for the group of ponies from The Cutie Map are called. Like I get you can say “Well they left for Starlight’s town because they felt out of place so they didn’t get along very well” or something like that but you’d imagine Big Mac, ie someone who’s lost their parents and who’s whole thing is a big family, nevermind knowing a grandfather that deeply regrets not making up sooner with his child, would be pushing his significant other to at least attempt to bridge any kind of gap between Sugar Belle and her family

Uh, I would recommend that everyone should expect the future gen show to be neither very bad or very good, since that could bring more low expectations from the new Gen.
