You have the biggest and most famous pony convention in Europe (that outlasted Bronycon). I hope people noticed.

Normal is overrated
Misanthropony released a 50 minute rant video on the Discord/Grogar twist, haven’t seen it myself but it’s probably not worth sitting through.

While I not a fan of MisAnthro Pony, I think the video wasn’t so bad. He have some points about the twist, but the video shouldn’t be that long.

The Discord Grogar thing was not that bad. It was actually the best Discord has been written since his godawful reformation.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still horrible, but it’s like eating nothing but fecal matter for 70 years and then being given sauerkraut. I personally hate sauerkraut, but compared to literal shit, it’d be fucking incredible! And that’s how I feel about the horrible way Discord was written there. Still bad, but is basically perfection compared to the abject failure that was his Seasons 3-8 self.

There’s no failure in the seasons. Except for the grown up CMC, Princess Celestia performing, and the Princess vacation episodes. Also the episode where Pinkie tried to become friends with a mule who I forgot his name, but he was selfish to her.

Well the most failiure is that Spike has been hurt alot.
Compare to other generations that somehow they didn’t get hurt at all (maybe a little.) But in G4 was a complete disaster!
And yeah… Garble did not help at all!

They do push it too hard sometimes, I think especially in the later seaons. Still, I’m in favour of always having a happy ending.

Ok, some of those are controversial, but who in the world considers Sonic Rainboom a failure? It’s… like the basis for Rainbow Dash’s entire arc.

I think he’s talking about episodes that address the subject of failure. Not the episodes themselves being failures. A lot of Sonic Rainboom was about RD being afraid of blowing the contest
