So who thinks Trixie's later appearances work better if one ignores a)Magic Duel entirely, with No Second Prances being her first equine appearance since Boast Busters. b) her last scene in said episode, replacing it with an exit similar to her original one in Boast Busters?
@Latecomer Seeing as Trixie didn't try very hard to make up for enslaving Twilight's friends and town, I still say that it works better than people think it does. And no Magic Duel makes Twilight not trusting Trixie at all come out of nowhere, since all she did in her appearance ep was show off and boast, nothing that would cause Twi to try to keep Starlight away from her as much as she did.
@Meanlucario A good point — although even in Magic Duel (which I just re-watched) — Twilight seemed quite angry when she realised her opponent's identity. Of course, that might have something to do with what she was doing at the time…
@Latecomer Trixie should've been Twilight's friendship student, not that overexposed and objectively unlikable idiot Suelight. All the later seasons would be better off without Glimmer ruining every episode she appears in.
If you can't tell, I'm imitating a certain someone. You know my real thoughts about Starlight as a character.
