Bruh what. I doubt ubisoft has ever listened to gamers.
Either way, I would not feel any sympathy if they ever go under. Ubisoft would be shit regardless. They’re the same as every other greedy AAA publisher. Worthless.
Even if gamers are doing that, which most aren’t, they still wouldn’t listen. Gamers don’t matter, investors do and it’s been that way for well over a decade, long before shit like Gamergate was a thing.

This, I wish people would stop blaming gamers, or the online “political/culture-wars,” or pretty much anyone they disagree with, and understand this.

The irony is that they’re gonna lose both.
By neglecting the base player base there’s no money nor earnings, and no money means investors will pull the plug and will lose both in the process. That’s why they’re panicking.

One thing I sometimes see is that games made for the modern audience are often completely overlooked by the very same modern audience studios are trying to cater to and abandoned by them. The modern audience instead moves on to mainstream games and demand inclusion there, devs include them but then take a hit in sales for doing so, often going so far that they start to lose their core audience over time and we end up with franchise degradation, tabo themes and subjects.

I swear nintendo is turning into the disney of the gaming world and that’s not a compliment.

you sure ubisoft? you sure it’s that and not the simple fact that didney flushed all of the cultural clout of star wars down the toilet?

Pretty sure having inclusion in a game doesn’t exclude the main audience unless that audience was bigoted in the first place. Inclusion isn’t the issue, it’s game corporations seeing the shareholders as the customers and gamers as the product.

Bro they have been for a while. At least disney lets videos up on YouTube, Nintendo will fucking nuke you from orbiter. They don’t even want tournament for some of there games like spaltoon.

I looked it up. 130! You could buy three $37 games with that amount of money. I can also buy like 10 different platters of sushis from Miki or the shop, or some stuff from the indian food truck.
