What…uh…What’s with the artstyle in DA:Veilguard? Feels half-baked. Feels Indie in a bad way.
Half the stuff in the trailer can be made more appealing with clever lighting or texturing–that’s how the art team usually would go about faking depth and shadow, hence making the textures look less like clay and somehow hides their low-poly-ness.
Everything in DA:Veilguard looks so dull like WHY? Also the scars look painted on. DA:I has better scars vanilla, unmodded.
WHY? And why am I so nettled about this? I guess I excepted a much better representation of the concept art shown years ago. Ngl them concept art got me wildly hyped. And then in-game graphics just felt mid and uninspired.
