They made a documentary about Mats Steen.

For those who have never heard of him, he’s pretty well known among WoW fans. He died in 2014 of neuromuscular dystrophy, known as wasting disease, that basically had him be housebound for 6 years until his death. His parents had feared that he had been lonely and destitute all those years.

After he died, his parents were surprised when a large group of strangers showed up to his funeral. As it turned out, he was famous. He played on an RP server as a human rogue by the name of Ibelin, a puckish detective in service of SI:7 (The Alliance equivalent of the CIA) and was the most prolific RP’er on his whole server.

I’m very much looking forward to seeing it. They partnered with Blizzard to recreate some of his characters most famous moments in-engine.

Keanu Reeves will also be voicing Shadow in the DLC too

Hey Zincy, I just got the new expansion.

I think you’ll like it. Honestly, I’ve had a lot of fun. Delves are a combination of the best of Torghast with elements of the Mage Tower. And actually provide a decent way to gear. It’s probably the most alt friendly expansion we’ve ever had. Warbands, follower dungeons, Delves, and improved dailys/weeklys have massively improved the experience.

It’s not a perfect xpac by any means, but it feels “complete” unlike Shadowlands, and actually impactful unlike Dragonflight (which was good, but felt like filler).

The first thing that popped out to me in the new continent was all the dwarven architecture. I love stuff like Ulduar. The expansion has left a good first impression so far. Still maining my Destro Lock and I still love the new talent tree. I’m honestly extremely excited for the 20th anniversary event.
Also it’s nice to play on a new pc because during DF I was still on my old ass 4790k and 1070, now I’m on a Ryzen 7600X and 4060 and running the game on an NVMe and the load times are crazy fast. I’m definitely excited to keep playing haha

This trope/cliche pisses me off:

“Character can be stabbed and shot multiple times during gameplay without flinching but is knocked out by a single sucker punch in cutscenes.”

Dragon Age fans call it the “Murder Knife”. A mythical weapon characters only dare use in cutscenes but dare not risk it in gameplay.

Honestly the Agumon line is the only one I’m okay with recolors. Ever since Digimon World 1 I still get miffed when I see a Betamon and Modoki Betamon.

And I just now realized that Cyber Sleuth didn’t have a Snow Agumon. Lame.

Gotta love melee logic in games:

“An unmodified Baseball Bat is just as instantly lethal as a Machete/Katana/Long Sword.”

Ideally, I see blunt melee as having greater staggering and stunning effects while sharp melee is for pure damage but most games treat all melee weapons as the same.

Apparently it’s confirmed that Veilguard will only ask the player for 3 choices from previous games: who the Inquisitor romanced, whether the Inquisition was disbanded and whether the Inquisitor tried to redeem Solas.

So basically the only choices that matter going into Veilguard are the ones in the last 5 minutes of Trespasser.
