God, I hope so. I’m already excited at the prospect of finally getting a chance to play CvS2, but the idea of a brand new one would be fucking amazing.
If it does happen though, then I hope that the Capcom side of the roster has more variety. Don’t really like how most of the Capcom roster in both entries (and SNK’s take for that matter) is just predominantly Street Fighter.
“But isn’t SNK’s side in both games just predominantly King of Fighters?” Technically? Yes. But KoF was already a crossover between most of SNK’s properties to begin with (outside of Metal Slug for some reason), so outside of characters made specifically for KoF, like Kyo and Iori, it doesn’t really count.

This scene in LazyPurple’s How it feels to play Heavy has been living rent free in my head for years. I’ve always wondered if you could survive this situation or if the mini sentry’s DPS outpaced the sandvich etc, and I never bothered to test it myself in-game.
So I checked the wiki and did some number crunching based on the scenario. The sandvich heals for 300 across 4.3 seconds, while the mini sentry deals a max damage of 55.5 per second - or 222 damage in that same time give or take. So yeah, in that time the Heavy would heal a net 78 seconds.
But would the Heavy have enough time to destroy the sentry after? Well it takes like .9 seconds for the Heavy to begin firing his stock minigun, and let’s say damage falloff means it’s doing its minimum DPS at mid-range for 48. A mini sentry has 100 health, so a Heavy would take approximately 3 seconds to destroy it from rev up to finish. In that time the mini sentry would manage an additional 166 or so damage.
So from sandvich to finish it would take the Heavy 7 seconds to destroy the mini sentry, assuming the mini targets the Heavy as soon as he starts his eating animation. That means it’ll deal an approximate total of 389 damage.
Not taking into account other variables like different miniguns or the mini starting to damage him before he starts eating, it would mean any Heavy that started this situation with 89 or less health would die. Any Heavy with more health will barely make the cut.
It finally also means LazyPurple died here.

AFAIK, it’s kinda a net postive.
On the one hand, it now means you can in fact now sue Steam and Volvo. Before they forced you into arbitration due to TOS.
On the other hand, this means you can’t do arbitration. If you now have an issue with Steam and Volvo, you now have to pony up the cash to take them to court.
Apparently they are doing this because they are currently in arbitration with some entity and were going to lose, so they changed their rules to retroactively force this entity to take them to court instead. Which while mostly good for the userbase as a whole, kinda a dick move on Volvo’s part.
