I don’t go looking for these posts. They come across my feed, and not because I follow the poster. They either get suggested or are trending. I’ve never looked into this guy or some of the other posters, so I don’t know what they’re like.
And I guess this goes for every pro Ukraine post I share too. Guess I better check into who they are before I repost lest I post one from someone who leans to the right.

The difference is that gender is largely rooted in identity. Yeah there is dicks and vajajays, but the systems for how we treat gender are mostly social norms.
Context is important. Like in a medical/anatomical sense a M2F might identify as having ‘male sex characteristics’ but to the rest of the world they’re a women for all it counts.
The problem is there is a lot of people who think homosexual and trans is a fad that’s going to dry up their sexual resources, but it’s actually their shitty attitude towards the other gender that dry up their resources.
Transphobes have some massive incel energy ngl, why else are they so concerned about such a small group of people?

OK, so, who here knows about the Cato Institute? They’re basically a right-wing Libritarian think tank that was partially fonded by the Kochs.
They normally march to the GOP drum despite being “independent”, but they just absolutely, and likely inadvertently, dumped on Republicans.
They released a “Freedoms” index that measured states based on personal, and economic freedoms.
Texas, long the “state of personal freedom” turned out to rank dead last on that measure. It was in the top 10 in economic, but at the literal bottom of the personal freedoms.
Virginia, btw, ranks 12th in personal freedoms and 18th in economic.
Now, for the record, this whole index is bullshit. For example, it ranks paid sick leave, paid maternity/paternity leave, and raises in minimum wage as “negatives” for economic freedom…figure that shit out.
So, don’t actually believe a thing it says. But, it is super amusing to see Texas score last on something that is so inherently right-wing.

So during the four days pause and now extended another two days in the gaza strip, Israel’s published a list of prisoners eligible for release, 300 of them.
Jeremy Scahill of The Intercept says that out of those 300, only less than a third, have actually been convicted of something.
So 300 have been arrested, 233 have not been convicted (probably will be, later.) He also noted that, not an insignificant number of them are teenagers, boys and girls. He also said Israel is one of the few govt in the world, and the only one in the developed west, that tries minors in military court.

Then again, the occupied territory and the gaza strip is under military law, and Gazan kids are always a potential terrorist or are already a terrorist sympathizer, as Israel higher ups have been telling us: That there are very few actual palestinian innocents in this conflict. Every palestinian is culpable in some way.
And with half of the population being minors…yea it would make sense that israeli prisons are full of kids.
