Aww come on, don’t make me miss out on a hypothetical badge I’d probably create all because I decided to swap OCs this year. :P

There’s probably several more then that. My own for example.  
But my question is, why? This isn’t a major milestone as far as I know. And I already have the participation badge from every year.  
It’s just a badge for getting those badges with the same OC up to this point.  
It would actually discourage creativity because someone might have an idea for a new OC but not pursue it because they don’t want to miss something like this.

It should probably be for people who took part in every collab, but based on the owners rather than the ocs themselves.

I feel a badge for “Participated in every collab” is too exclusive and, in a sense, punishing for new users. People that joined this site after the first collab, only came up with their OC later or missed one collab due to whatever reason are just straight up excluded. Plus, they already are missing out on the regular collab badges of every collab they missed.
 
If we’re doing a badge like that, it should be “Participated in x different collabs” instead. That allows new people to qualify, gives them something to look forwards to and encourages them to stay active in the Derpibooru community.

It’s only an idea and besides it’s up to site leadership to make that kind of call and to specify what the qualifications are.
 
I’m perfectly fine with the badge being for owners participating, regardless of ocs, in all 5 or being for anyone that does participate in 5 in the future, the whole idea of the badge is showing the dedication of site members being on-board with this for so long.
 
Don’t take my word as law, I’m more or less a nobody on this site, feel free to add to the idea as long as the general spirit of the award is intact

I’m patiently curious to know and see what badges they make for this years collab or if they make new ones for past attenders.
 
I’d personally love a Smiling Lyra Heartstrings badge or Braeburn type one since both the characters(like most others) share collaborative traits and hobbies with other ponies. I think they’d fit well for a collaboration-type badge, just a helpful friendly supportive suggestion on some badge ideas/styles; but its entirely up to the team on what they choose/do! :3

Next year all submissions should be drawn in Pony Life.

Idk, the logistics of that sounds rough, not everyone can do that style, and those that can would probably be overwhelmed by requests. I don’t think it’d be the best idea.

can agree with missing collabs, not fun missing out on em

A borgar would be a hilarious badge, but I’m not sure that’d fit for a collab badge.
 
Though I’m not sure what the badges will be…. In fact, I’m not even sure if I’m supposed to design them or come up with the idea or what…. I probably should figure that out…

How about a Sunset Shimmer one? She kept EG together almost alone, that’s reasonably collab-related

For the other one, maybe Flurry Heart, because we don’t have a badge of her yet?
