While it’s an odd paradox, it is quite a typical one. Look at literally any fandom: the nicest characters always get the most abuse from fans. It’s something to do with the psychology behind taking a sweet-natured, all-loving character and breaking them; it offers some sort of malevolent gratification. It’s not unlike the gratification that a demented child gets from ripping the wings off of, and keep in mind that I’m not trying to make a joke here, butterflies.
 
Sick as it is, it’s par for the course. Luckily, abuse pics tend to be pretty absurd.

Very much agreed. It mildly disturbs me that Fluttershy is the easiest pony to find pictures of being abused and/or raped while Spoiled Rich is on top in most of her pictures. I really really want to see more of characters who actually deserve horrible things happening to them, having bad things happen to them.

DT, I used to hate you. Like, viscerally hate you. But since then, I’ll admit, you’ve had an episode that did a pretty good job at redeeming you.

I haven’t disliked a character as much as I dislike Spoiled Rich in a very, very long time. If there’s one thing that really gets under my skin, it’s abusing children, whether it be physically or emotionally. It’s, put simply, the quickest way to piss me off.

That’s what she gets for treating her daughter like a racist brat.
