Most of the population of England are more related than MarbleMac. You know how a significant proportion of the world’s population is related to Genghis Khan? That’s not all that weird, because go back just a dozen generations and everyone starts becoming related to everyone else. It’s just how lineage tends to work.

Supposedly even the most distantly related people are still 50th cousins. So yeah that’s the grading curve to work off of.

I don’t blame Big Mac. The Pie family is all kinds of crazy. Even if Marble is one of the least-eccentric, you know she’s going to keep close with them, and by extension, you’ll have to as well.

And the thing is, even if that infinitesimal amount of relation was a problem (it isn’t, that’s not how inbreeding works), it’s still was left up in the air whether they are distantly related. Could’ve easily made a reveal that they aren’t, not that it matters.

Also this might be a cultural thing bit where I am from there isn’t a concept of “distant cousin”. The word Cousin in my language exclusively refers to your Uncles/aunts Child, anyone more distant might as well be non family

Asking all the important questions.

I think I’ve already said this before, but because of the premiere and the whole Legion of Doom thing, I’m starting to appreciate Cozy Glow a lot more.

At this point, Its a miracle a character has an episode besides of Mane6, Young6, CMC, Starlight, Spike or Discord. Even the princesses seem really out until the ending.

Assuming they get one episode each and the CMC also get a shared episode, that’s three episodes left over not counting two parters. The princesses have one, so that’s two left over. Then we have Uprooted and Twilight’s Seven. So:  
5- Twilight  
6- Rainbow Dash  
7- Yona and Sandbar (otherwise there won’t be enough episodes. I’ll say Sandbar misses out)  
8- The villains  
9- Spike or Smolder  
10- Apple Bloom  
11- Starlight  
12- CMC Shared  
13- Mane 6  
So that leaves Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Ocellus, Silverstream, Gallus, The Princesses, and either Spike or Smolder again. You could probably combine those latter two, but if not, someone else will have to miss out. If The Last Crusade doesn’t feature Scootaloo’s Aunts, then either the rumor is false (again), or Sweetie Belle or the Princesses aren’t getting an episode. Discord will likely co-star.

Sweetie Belle’s arc is done, I’ll forgive her not getting an episode. Discord, on the other hand… well, I wouldn’t mind seeing him get laser’d again.

That combined with the Scootaloo’s Family rumor is the reason she’s the one most likely to get shafted besides the princesses (Assuming Sandbar/Yona and Spike/Smolder share episodes instead of getting their own), Apple Bloom is confirmed to be getting one of her own.

I think the premiere is making me start to like Tirek more too, not that I disliked him as a character.

We assume, of course, that Scotts and Sweetie don’t show up for AB’s episode, which is very possible. It also is possible we’ll get another sisters episode (CMC+sisters) or potentially another CMC Dream episode because three isn’t enough, damnit! Come to think of it, another Luna Dreamworld episode would be very welcome- it’s a cool concept that has been criminally underused throughout the show.

Something about Marble Pie and Big Macintosh. I dunno, I’ve been tuned out for a week as well due to Spring Break, though I have checked on occasion.

Still believe that some users both here and elsewhere likely care more than they should about character appearances.
