That would give them something to work with, all we have now is them being gay for each other, and little more.

Yeah, they remind me of Pinkie and Rarity…except Vinyl isn’t really the party animal fanon makes her out to be.

As it’s related, I don’t care for Lyrabon or Scratchtavia at all. The former I could see working I just get annoyed at ‘fans’. And the latter I don’t like at all and much prefer them just being friends if anything. Also come on, Octavia is (was?) in a fucking band, show that more versus just her and Vinyl being lesbians.

You bring up fans a lot. I still do believe obnoxious fans are reason enough to hate something. Like this one guy I won’t mention.

Eh, if I make a fanfiction with Vinyl I won’t write her like she is portrayed in the show. She won’t be mute, and her personality will very much be like how she is shown in The Vinyl Scratch Tapes or elsewhere.
 
Now if Vinyl is listening to her music with headphones, I may have it that she has her quiet moments, but she will be able to talk and the mare will often be loud mattering the situation. Seriously, having her be mute ruins the dynamic fans have created between her and Octavia.

Damn near every season finale after Season 1 has some controversial moment.
 
Season 2, i heard people complain about Shining Armor and Cadeance, for whatever reason i don’t know. S2 finale is my second favorite finale, and obviously you got Princess Twilight Sparkle in Season 3, i’ve heard complaints about the Season 4 finale being too violent, the Golden Oaks library destroyed by Tirek, and Twilight’s castle i’ve seen complaining about that.. Season 5, is Starlight Glimmer’s reformation, which i will admit was rushed. And in Season 6, the changeling reformation, and the Mane 6 getting captured offscreen by the changelings.
 
 
I wonder what kind of fandom splitting moment the’ll add in the Season 7 finale. Cause you can’t have a season finale in MLP without some kind of fandom drama. So what’s next, A character dies? Princess Starlight Glimmer? The Pony Of Shadows gets reformed?

The pony of shadows comes back, terrorizes the town, gets captured by Starlight Glimmer and the Changedlings, Starlight gets promoted to an alicorn, and then the pony of shadows escapes and kills her…and then gets reformed and takes her place.

Like the way he gets when he’s mooning over Rarity? He’s a kid, kids ufckup when they’re excited; that was hardly the only episode where his enthusiasm knocked his ability off the track.

…Sort of thing. When he had simple, straightforward tasks that could be accomplished independent of the situation, he did just fine.

Unless Tirek knew a “literally a shadow with glowing eyes being cast on a bookshelf” spell, it was literally a shadow with glowing eyes being cast on a bookshelf. There’s a difference between a figure being silhouetted by backlighting and an actual shadow; one is an object with a darkened surface because the light is behind it, the other is an area of darkness on a surface because the light is being obstructed. A new moon is not the same thing as a lunar eclipse.

The religious music thing is a reference to most music being purely religious during the middle ages, nothing more.

They’re talking about the design, not the function. The first concrete arch dam was built in 1913, but because of the revolutionary nature of the design they didn’t catch on until the late 20s and early 30s.
 
Unless ponyville is equestria’s salmon creek, the presence of the dam implies that such designs are fairly common in equestria.
 
But why get all superior about dates? That’s a mug’s game. Magic throws technology progression completely out of whack. The more consistent and setting-respectful argument is to say that magic obviates the need for certain technologies. The dam could be for anything.
