What would pony eyes feel like to touch? I mean, they’re so big…

So what are some of the headcanons for Twilight and Rainbow’s parents? We see what Fluttershy’s family is like (I haven’t gotten to that episode yet, though). we’ve seen Rarity’s parents are clueless good hearted folk and have absolutely no good taste when it comes to food, either that or were just being nice to Sweetie. We’ve met Pinkie’s family and Applejack’s parents aren’t all that hard to figure out considering the rest of the Apple family.
 
Also, little thing that bugged me about Rarity Takes Manehatten is that it should have been easy for Rarity to prove that Suri Polomare ripped off her unique fabric, simply by the fact that she could describe the process of creating the fabric in great detail. It also bugs me that the dresses should have already been registered for the show so an entire last minute line of dresses shouldn’t have been able to be admitted for the show, but that one’s being a bit too nitpicky.

Is it weird/stupid that back when I was more into the show/had classes I tried to coin the phrase “Pull a Twilight” for studying?

You know what I find funny? There are some people who criticize MLP for referencing past events and bringing back characters because it is pandering to the audience and yet Samurai Jack does an episode where they bring back characters from the past and they get nothing but praise from it. Now, I’m not saying MLP is as good as Samurai Jack is. It’s not. I just find it funny that apparently MLP bringing back characters like Trixie or referencing past events like Flutterguy is pandering but Samurai Jack bringing back a lot of characters isn’t.

I guess because they’re fan-favourites? At this rate, bringing Babs back would be an apology at best and Jimmy Savile glorification at worst. The way things are, Twist is more likely to get a speaking role, and that would be illegal no matter how you slice it. All things considered, we’re more likely to see Phil Hartman voice Doopliss…

I would love to see Babs come back. She’s all but vanished from the show at this point. I do admit I’d love to see Twist return as well, possibly with a similar setup to Twilight and Moondancer’s conflict with how Applebloom pretty much abandoned her to make the CMC.

But that will never happen because of VA issues. Technically speaking, Babs is possible, in theory at least, but so unlikely at this point we’re more likely to get a guest appearance from a man who died in 1999…
