I’m going to be honest with you, the tagging system is already pretty disorganized at this point. LightningBolt has been spending plenty of time cleaning up the tagging database ever since she became a Site Assistant.
You are right. You shouldn’t have to do it. In fact, it would be silly to do that much work for one user, in that I 100 percent agree with you.
Still feels weird.
^^^
I will repeat myself in saying that the creation of a tag this specific is probably not necessary at this point. The chances are that most people won’t have a problem with seeing images like this that aren’t NSFW. Creating a new tag and then tagging all the images that it applies to at the request of one user is very cumbersome.
Now I am going to be sounding a bit critical, but most sparity images aren’t tagged that specifically. A quick check shows how many pictures have Spike older(with the sparity tag) without that tag(older), and plenty have Spike aged up without that tag. I’d say more than half don’t.
It just feels weird not to have a safe for work version of foalcon when their is SO much of it.
Complex filters, ‘Sparity, -older’ or something. Maybe not that string exactly, but there IS a way to do it!
How many times has Twilight called him a baby dragon? He’s clearly the ‘little brother’ archtype of the show, regardless.
I don’t think this type of tag is necessary. I’m sure if more people requested such a tag then it would be considered.
What if Spike isn’t actually young, though? We’ve seen him grow into an adult, how do we know he’s not just an adult dragon choosing a young body for convenience sake? (not all ponies are comfortable around big fire-breathers)
Also, you’ve spent more time on this pic arguing about it than any filter could possibly spare you from… you’ve kinda rendered your own efforts redundant…
But that’s not the point. I can like the sparity ship when he’s aged up and it’s appropriate, I just wanted a term for this and other such ships, like safe ScootaDash kissing.
Why ISN’T there a term for ‘safe’ paedophilia images if foalcon doesn’t cover it?
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
@FloydPinkerton
‘Sparity’ there’s your tag. Foalcon is NOT for safe images, and innocent safe kissing is NOT foalcon. This isn’t sexual, please heed the image’s rating and feel free to back off from it if it makes you uncomfortable. Again, Sparity is the tag to hide here.
It’s foalcon without the sex, but still a romantic relationship between a child and an adult. I think foalcon should apply to these types of images since there doesn’t seem to another term for it.
If you disagree, please, let me know for a term I can use to filter these out.
childhood innocence without intent? This piece at least.
Yeah, I know, but what do you call THIS? When it isn’t sex, but still clear romantic actions between a child and an adult.
What do we call THAT?
If they having sex, it would called foalcon.
I can’t think of any terms that aren’t out-right derogatory… :/
It’s not about the rating of the image. I just want a foalcon tag type of filter for images like this or something where a kid in the show kisses on an adult :p
Like, I dunno, what would you call a little girl kissing a grown man full on?
There has to be a word for this kinda thing, but it escapes me what that word is.
Well, considering Spike wanting to go out with Rarity is kinda canon, it follows that this sort of ship shouldn’t automatically imply that the image can’t be safe. (Otherwise there would be screencaps from the show that couldn’t be safe, and that would just be silly.)
With that said, the rules say that suggestive applies to:
I’m guessing you feel the same about this image too? >>403957
