The ultimate goal of the Society is not to force creatures into slavery, it is to ease them into the idea that servitude to a master or mistress is preferable to independence. Though we do mainly capture ponies to become sex slaves, it is just a by-product of what we really do, which is to optimize a creature’s ability to succeed.
 
Every pony in Equestria knows that they have a special talent, but seldom uses it to the extent of its potential. One can only achieve this with resources and influence, both being things that are difficult to acquire for the common pony. In a way, the Society matches up those who lack these aspects with those who do, scouting out those who would best fulfill a need for the elites of Equestria. In exchange for this opportunity, which so few creatures ever get the chance to receive, those being given it must be trained to realize that without their benefactors they would have nothing.
 
A chef might be able to make the best meal ever tasted, but only with the best ingredients, and far too often does the chef forget who funds their efforts. Thus, our training, as harsh as it may be, is to create an understanding. That those less fortunate must depend on those with power to achieve greatness, and are indebted to them for what they’ve done. That debt is so deep that the only form of compensation is to give oneself, in their entirety, to the one who supports them. So when the benefactor requests the profits of labor they allowed to happen, or even pleasure from the body of the one they supported, it is completely within their right.
 
Few would see it this way though, taught by the world that their achievements are their own, and that they owe no one for their own accomplishments, no matter how much of a contribution another party provided. This is where our training comes in, as the Society works to remove this notion and set these poor souls down a path of acknowledgment and appreciation for those who hold their destiny in their hands. Once complete, all signs of arrogance, stubbornness, and disobedience vanish, leaving behind a creature of unbridled potential, able to provide for their owner as much as their owner provides for them.
 
All who finish the training find that their lives become much better when they give complete control over it to another, and in most cases find that rewards come once they submit completely. After all, why would they not? When the master eats better meals, the scraps they toss to the dogs are all the more delicious. The happier one makes their owner, the more that happiness will be delivered back to them. Fine clothes, shiny trinkets, the ability to achieve one’s wildest dreams. A slave may never become of the status of an owner, but they can still live like kings and queens. They might even be gifted with a slave of their own, if they are good enough. Perhaps even one that is just as special as them.
