Yessss
Yeah Stellar is a bit of a dick.
Oh wait, you mean that one dildo.
I’d say whoever made these needs Jesus but I don’t want him anywhere near them.
Okay, that’s funny
And Cloudy Quartz opted out.
It’s actually supposed to be an absolute in our language as well. It’s just that us English speakers have this horrible habit of trying to change the rules of our language on the fly.
You know, like people using literally as a word for emphasis, as opposed to denoting how… well, literal something is.
It was far worse in the 1800s. Sart people made up their own personalized spellings and grammatical rules back then….
Allow me to clarify. “All age appeal” to me means everyone equally (my first language is Polish, which is far more straightforward/blunt(?) where as English can be interpreted multiple ways. When a word like “all” is used, Polish people interpret it to be certain/absolute(?)) (wszystko = all/everything). If we’re talking just appealing to a secondary audience without compromising the first, I agree completely.
(I probably confused myself / misinterpreted Dogman’s comment) My first comment was just meant as a joke anyway.
… That’s exactly what it means. Trying to build up secondary demographics does not mean giving up on the primary demographic. This isn’t some zero sum game between Bronies and Kids.
I don’t equate subtle adult jokes and having an “all age appeal” to trying to get older audiences. Their targets have and are children who will nag their parents to buy toys. Even if you are a “brony” I’d say over 90% of bronies (if not 90% then let’s just say children are responsible for buying the lion share of toys) don’t buy official pony merch.
Pretty sure Cookie Crumbles will be at the buffet just now, enjoying her brunch.
“Trying to get the older audiences”? They’ve always been doing that - officially, for the parents watching with their kids, and then in later seasons, things that non-parent older viewers would get and enjoy.
Trying to get the older audiences I suppose (Dogman15’s got the answer you’re looking for).
Let’s just say it has to do with the canon characterization of Stellar Flare (Sunburst’s mom).
Ummmm… d-did I miss some news about the new direction MLP is taking?
