@zidders Twilight forgave her. Don’t quite remember if the others were shown doing the same. And it’s not like she didn’t petrify three other princesses (and Derpy) and enslave Canterlot, and a number of minor things on top of that like wrecking Celaeno’s ship. In fact, the enslaving part? She did basically the same thing to Canterlot that Sombra did to the Crystal Empire, and Sombra was killed for it, so I’d imagine that Cadance, if nopony else, would be on poor terms with her until she at least acknowledged the magnitude of her crime and made a clear gesture of repentance.
@zidders
Everyone has reasons why they are doing what they are doing. It’s a combination of how our brain and body came to be through factors that we didn’t choose and the environment we were born into which we didn’t choose either. Sometimes the reasons why we do “bad” stuff is because our genes or hormones or whatever behave in a certain way or we had some kind of event or circumstances that made us act like this. At some point we invented the concepts of justice, revenge and punishment.
Do “bad” stuff and you get “bad” stuff done to you. It works because it hinders people from doing it. Sometimes we make exceptions to punishment because some person has a certain mental illness which means their brain functions in a certain way or we find their backstory relatable or sad or we find the person relatable or whatever. It’s all the same.
However, sometimes it can be a good thing because some people can be “corrected” more easily. In a world of ponies and friendship even more so. I guess you could say that my “way” is a petty way to look at it. I was really just commenting more on the fact that you corrected someones words. I meant that getting what’s coming to someone is an accurate saying if someone commited crimes independent of what happens next so the mane six forgiving her would be irrelevant to the saying itself. It was a bit weird to me that you would correct their comment like that if you knew what they meant.
@zidders
That’s not how it works, tho.
Of course technically she will never get punished because friendship and stuff but she still did lots of bad things so getting what’s coming to her is accurate to say in this situation.
Have fun while you still can, tentacle monster. As soon as you loosen your grip, you’re going to find yourself tied up in a badly bruised Gordian knot.
In the comics Cadance is basically in charge of Tempest and The Princesses are unrealistically forgiving
I could do that.
Or I could ask if anyone else thinks the tentacles make the rope feel just a teensy bit superfluous. :P

…That, and there’s a whole ““Starlight get what’s coming to her[](https://derpibooru.org/tags/starlight+gets+what%27s+coming+to+her) tag full of stuff like this (and more), and Starlight isn’t really any worse than Tempest.
(They) that studieth revenge keepeth (their) own wounds green, which otherwise would heal and do well.

She doesn’t have anything coming to her as the mane 6 forgave her.
Nah, they won’t stop fucking until she’s either broken or dead.
She’ll break free, assuming she’s able to catch her breath after several hours of nonstop tentacling.
then that would be even good
What if they never loosen their grip?
