Nah it was discovery. I prefer both sexes equally.
I think the best way to put it is they feel like they are bisexual to a degree, at least. They may prefer X or Y sex but they at least minorly like the same sex/ opposite sex.

Well there kinda is…i mean sure you always where bi but you need to find that out first. And in his case the questioning of sexuality was triggered by a nice soarin pic.
