Nah, Izzy used Pipp’s new hoofcream that she was planning to sell as paint to do artwork with, and that’s only part of the history she has of taking other people’s things without asking, yet the writers refuse to properly call her out for it. About the only thing Pinkie’s done that comes close to that is eating the Cakes’ sweets as that were supposed to be for Celestia’s visit in Swarm of the Century, a season 1 episode.

Izzy is loathsome.

And Pinkie also ate sweets intended for Celestia in A Bird in the Hoof and MMMystery on the Friendship Express and grabbed Applejack’s butt in a Season 7 episode. Understanding the personal space of others was never her forte either. We get that you hate Izzy, but you’re just beating a dead horse at this point.

TYT is a little 5-minute baby series that shouldn’t be taken seriously so not much thoughts would be put into it. FIM is a 22-minute main series where the characters’ actions and personalities should have set standards and care put into or it would be annoying to follow their stories and see them as “heroes” while they mentally abuse one of their friends.

Also I thought there is such a thing as character flaw, where a few moments of bad actions don’t define who those characters actually are. They’re not exactly the devil for terrorizing their fellow yellow mares now, are they?

TYT is far more than “a little baby series” (the most recent episode says hi), but it certainly does have a focus on comedy and over-the-top antics that are not meant to be taken to heart, something I’ve been saying from the beginning. FiM also has a lot of moments of comedic exaggeration that expect you to suspend your disbelief despite having a different structure. Comedy is subjective, but where’s the comedy if the characters are perfect and do no wrong? Jokes involving characters committing wrongful actions are capable of annoying me, but just because a character does something wrong for a joke doesn’t mean they’re evil to me.

Why can’t I rag on stuff while everyone else can? Why can’t I have opinions while everyone else can? I wasn’t the first person and I am not the only person going super negative around here.

Also, I made the point the both Pinkie Pie and Izzy have moments of character flaw and that they shouldn’t be defined in only negativity because we only look at them at their most negative, just like how you shouldn’t only focus on the negative of my comment.

I’m well aware you’re not the only negative person here. That doesn’t explicitly mean I’m fine with them any more than I am with you.

Sorry, I’ve changed, and it’s getting harder and harder to change back the longer I stayed. Now we have images of ponies literally dancing on graves and people booing at voice actress. It is nearly impossible to go back. And I like how I called TYT a baby series and there is still a comment that went “Um, ackchyually, FIM is still more popular”. I have changed, and nothing else has.

Honestly I also expected people to ignore me. Like “Ah, that asshole Wayne again preaching about how much he hates everything now”, but everyone just keeps alluring me to double down. I’m only answering accordingly.

Bridlewood Spog. Pipp remembers that she got a shipment of hoofcream that she was going to use as a backup product to unveil since her shampoo fell through, only to find Izzy using it to paint, apparently going through several boxes of it for literally no reason. And she isn’t called out for this, even by Pipp. And frankly, apart from Posey, it seems like Pipp is the primary target for her abuse, since I also recall the time Izzy ruined the virtual collage Pipp had made and deleted all the photos.

I’ll say again, it’s really only the TYT version I can’t stand. Her MYM counterpart is far better, though unfortunately, she’s pretty much dead and gone now since MYM ended.

I think that’s the main concern of someone in the group being the designated conic relief character.

You need to have a balance of funny and good character moments, becuase if it leans too hard into the funny side then it risks making them come across as more annoying then intended

It’s one of my problems with Pinkie. Normally she’s OK and she’s good when she’s supposed to be a side character in an episode, however when she’s the focus then she cranks up into full on screeching idiot mode

You didn’t start off as an arse so it’s also just as difficult for us to get used to new you or just tolerate. And also, it’s not just Bahia getting flak. Andy Price is too, but very few want to acknowledge that for some reason if on not trying to stoke a dying flame or because somehow he really deserved it when he didn’t. Separate art from artist, no one does. I highly doubt you skipped that part in another thread unless you really did. Finally, if you’re talking about him, he’s only saying both g4 and 5 are fine, nothing else. He likes g5 just as much as g4.

Yes, G5 included now. I feel like it’s fair to be balanced.

I’m not dragging anyone into it anymore, just talking about how I think now like everyone else. That’s how I feel, and that both sides are getting a bit overreacting talking about their respective characters. I just think it’s also ridiculous that when I talked negatively about both generations someone still had to jump out to defend only one. It didn’t really sound like he likes both gens. I’m sure the idea of telling me FIM remains more popular is supposed to mean G4 is superior. Mind that I’m not really saying G5 is superior in on itself. Just kind of my feeling that’s all. I don’t care if I was wrong. This is what this thread is for, talking about things that may be wrong.

I don’t understand how I’m the arse when I just talked about my thoughts and then responded accordingly when I see a reply I find ridiculous. And yeah, I know both Andy Price and Bahia Watson are getting flak, but I don’t know if bringing that up is in anyway helpful. In fact, I think it does the opposite.
