This was apparently inspired by a plushie maker who made a plushie with a butt so firm it could hold a Chinese cleaver. If they were still active, I might commission them to see if they could make a plushie to hold my 1796 cavalry saber.
I always found it funny despite how important Cloverleafs were in Maretime Bay and Phyllis seemingly a sort of cultural leader, how they’re basically forgotten except for the video game.
The one time one of the shows up is Phyllis at the hair salon and she might as well be any average middle aged mare.
@Cosmas-the-Explorer
Sprout occasionally shows up in MYM, and Phyllis shows up in the background occasionally in both MYM and TYT (but her appearance in Mane Melody is her final voiced role). Notably, Sprout didn’t appear once in TYT (IIRC, he was the only prominent movie character to have that distinction), and if that leaked reference sheet was anything to go off of, he was never planned to.
In TYT Sprout was only on a wanted poster in the sheriff’s office. He was the villain in the Maretime Bay Adventure where he tried to stir up conflict between ponykinds.
@Cosmas-the-Explorer
The Cloverleafs were only important because they were making anti-other-pony-races techs, at the time when pony prejudice was still prevalent. Without racism, they’re worthless.
@Butters Stotch
I’m curious. I know you love Godzilla but are you fan of other tokusatsu like Kamen Rider or Ultraman (especially since this one also has kaiju)?
@Cosmas-the-Explorer
I used to watch a lot of Ultraman stuff when I was a kid but never Karmen Rider. I’ll also proudly say I watched some of the original Japanese Super Sentai stuff before Power Rangers became a thing.
