The funny thing is Pinkie is my 2nd favorite pony but she doesn’t ship well with anypony. I like to ship Dash with myself of course.

It’s hilarious how this fandom ships anypony with anything, like Applejack being shipped with a pressure gauge 🤣

Alright, now I’m off work (and YouTube) and I can list my pros and cons:

Pros:
-Designs. There is more to it than this, but I will say that the character designs are unique, especially the character’s hairs. I really like how their manes look and seeing that the show is called Wild Manes, they did not disappoint there

Mixed:
-Animation. For the most part, it’s decently animated, but it could use some more movement.
-Plots. I’ve only watched the first episode and I have a feeling that the rest of the series is gonna be more or less the same, just simplistic plots and nothing else. Reason why I’m mixed is because maybe the later episodes could have better stories and the writing can improve, but for now it’s just typical kids show stuff

Cons:
-Characters. All of them are pretty dull and one note. Really doesn’t help that all the main characters are suspiciously similar to the main characters from TYT, just very watered down.
-Body Types. All of them have the same body, which does away with the unoriginality. G4 and G5 also had a lot of similar body types, but at least both switched things up
-Facial Expressions. None of the characters emote, like at all. All of them are stuck with the same faces and barely show any emotion whether positive or negative
-Voice Acting: I wasn’t a fan, there wasn’t any difference to them and all of them sounded the same, which to me showed a lack of direction
-Dialogue: My biggest complaint with the series. The dialogue is so poorly written and sounds unnatural and with awkward attempts at giving the character’s catchphrases, which are just bizarre and overall bad.

Overall: A barely passable series that I wouldn’t call terrible, looks to me like a show capitalizing on TYT’s success and taking advantage of the YouTube kids craze in order to make a quick buck. Not knocking on anyone who did find it enjoyable of course, I just wasn’t impressed. Final Ranking: 3/10

Oh and a little birdy told me what the deletions in the previous pages were about. All I can say is, “ok…”

I almost feel sorry for Wild Manes in the same way I almost feel bad for Rise of Skywalker. It feels like such an easy target. It’s like that one Simpsons meme.

I just watched it out of curiousity and have my own thoughts on it, I don’t like joining hate bandwagons. I did point out a few positives since I wanted to be honest and truthful as I can.

That’s fair. I’m just being silly. But seriously if they want to compete will MLP they should have tried to add a unique spin on MLP. It just feels like a poor man’s mlp except mlp is much more popular and kids will probably stick to TYT instead. It just seems like this will bite them in the butt eventually.

It’s like those Halo killers that tried to kill Halo’s dominance, rather than making something truly beloved.

The comparisons are too hard to ignore and even as its own thing, I just found it average. But since I do see fans of it, even TYT fans seem to like it, it must be doing something right and I could be in the wrong here
