Think of this fan project as a possible branch of events. And let’s also say that the season 8 and 9 events happened as well in that timeline, harsher in hindsight yet it all made sense now.

As much as I like Cozy Glow as a villain, I still don’t understand this obsession with her.

In hindsight, I think the fanbase takes her way more seriously than the writers did.

The writers basically had her in Tartarus because its freaking metal. Fans on the other hand want to analyze the ethics of child imprisonment.

And I can see both perspectives.

Many a times, villains ain’t so bad and heroes ain’t so good. Fiendship is Magic didn’t exactly help paint a clear picture. And no, I didn’t misspell Friendship. It’s a comic thing. Also official.

I don’t get. I really don’t get it. Why can’t villains so be villains? Why can’t villains just be bad? That’s literally what villains are for. Here’s another child, try and justify his actions.

Funny enough, only I think Grogar deserved that title of being Progenitor of All Evil. But you know, he’s not real.

In a vaccuum, I also don’t get it judging by her actions in the show. Looking at it in a broader sense, I’m not surprised since villains with messed up moral compasses have always been idolized or have their actions hella downplayed such as the example you have, Cartman.

Not exactly, but you don’t see Grogar himself or being himself anyway do you?

Grogar was very much real. Every villain (sans Cozy) has heard tales of him. Then we see his actual bell, and it has the same yellow-and-black electrical aura that Discord imitated. Then the trio finds a book that explains how it works. And then obviously Discord gets hit with it, and says his magic’s trapped ‘inside Grogar’s bell’.

So yeah, actual historical figure. IS he still around? Dunno.

Also, keep in mind, this is Equestria. Every legend turns out to be true.

That is some odd specification.

Cozy is one of my favourite villains, but I realise she’s not for everyone. Every villain - every character - appeals to some people more than others.

(And I do see her as possibly redeemable, but it’s far from certain… but probably still deserved more of an effort than was given. I guess they would rather just have the leads not try than taint their record with failure?)
