Same with certain if not most artists. Like for example, Sunnysundown has drawn Pinkie and Twilight way back. Nowadays whenever he does draw the mane 7 group, these two are always excluded because he simply didn’t like them. And then there’s this guy, he can do NSFW of many characters. Except that one singular character. If anytime you want them to go against their irk buttons, you’ll need to pay them exorbitant amounts to get them to finally draw them. And also, there’s Twistedscarlett60, he can draw humanized but prefers not too. I would sub to him if humanized was more frequent. But anyway yeah, that’s just Flutterthrash’s thing. Nothing wrong with drawing the same thing over and over.

I mean, you’re not the artist who keeps drawing them. Of course you wouldn’t. Not everyone has the same kink and turn-on. It would be a breath of fresh air if him and other artists deviated from what they usually draw but you know, art is freedom of expression.

Yeah, Badumsquish tends to draw the same thing over and over as well and he still gets praise for it. A lot of artists that I like, both safe and kink are the same but I seldom complain

I like anthro but it does definitely depend on the artstyle, I like stuff from Yutakira, Ambris, Dandy, Iloota, etc. I’m not a fan of just slapping a pony head on a human body, it just look weird

Twilight has ocasional “soapbox” traits that while not pronounced it can irk some people. Another reason I can think is that not many people like how often Twilight could be ocasionally dismissive of her friends, this was specially bad around the 2017 movie, though I for one believe her friends were too wishy washy and nearly got them all doomed so I think Twilight’s attitude was justified. There’s also the idea Twilight hogs the spotlight, this one is odd as she’s the main protagonist. Some also argue Pinkie should be the one holding the friendship title and not Twilight, although honestly friendship is a two way road, Pinkie might be a social butterfly but her clingy tendencies makes her terrible to actually handle the friendship mantle.

Regarding that moment in the movie, it goes both ways. Yes Twilight felt that practicality and being real was needed but you can’t deny that what her friends were doing would’ve gotten them the pearl anyway. Somehow our writers can achieve such a thing of both sides are right and wrong. A rare thing in any media that is usually black and white, good vs bad morality.

It was the attempt, but the execution doesn’t do for me.

Many of the times the mane 6 get something done in ways that felt by luck rather than skill. Has Capper not have a sudden change of heart the Mane 6 would be trapped in Klingstone, the pirates admittedly did little to the cause, and past times Pinkie trying a musical could often backfire so there was no reason to believe Novo would submit to that.

To me, it was an overstretch of the suspension of disbelief at times. So really I have a hard time not siding with Twilight.

Well it backfired because both Novo and Twilight’s own friends found out she was manipulating. And it’s not exactly her friends fault for misinterpreting the plan. Or that Twilight didn’t tell them she was gonna outright rip it from Novo’s claw out of obligation.

I have a bone to pick with Hasbro.

Beast Wars aired when I was going to school, and I grew up violent because I had nothing but Simpsons to watch, Adult Swim is very much entwined with both universes.

Whatever those corporations benefit from next year there better be some pony!
