Explanation of update to Rule #0 for consistency and clarity especially in regards to racism

Alright, it’s finally time to report all images which either depict Antifa or communism in a positive light. Why? Because one has killed millions of people, and the other is a known terrorist organisation. You can’t host those anymore because this will grow into actual hatred and political terrorism if you leave them up, effectively turning Derpibooru and its staff into collaborators of terror. Following your very own reasoning, mind you. So do you remove those images outright, or do I have to report them all?
 
Remember it’s not only in accordance to your own rules, but also your moral duty.

Well there is a fairly large difference between a government polling 1000 people purely at random and one taken from a forum that a specific subset of politically involved users frequent more than the other potental +90% of the website

I’ve said everything I can already. Please remain transparent and evenhanded as you move forward.

not gonna lie, i was 100% convinced, it didn’t seem an unnatural response given what we have seen in the moderator logs… the possibility still exists that it was him, but there is no evidence either way. So meh.

So none of the feedback was taken into account and at the end of the day it goes back to TSP’s ultimatum. The mods will ban anything that they don’t personally like (this is the reason for the vagueness of the rules) all the while turning a blind eye to real modern day hate movements such as ACAB.

To clarify, it is showing the racism and especially racially-targeted heinous acts of Nazis in a positive light that is the main problem. If someone were to show communists killing Jews for being such, that would be a problem.

I’m glad the rules don’t name specific ideologies, those end with the usual “Why is X not good but Y is? SLIPPERY SLOOOOPE! Everything will eventually be banned!” comments that comes with the territory.
 
With these new bullet points, context matters regardless of the ideology on display. There’s shitposting, there’s dog whistling and there’s hateful imagery. A plausible reason why ACAB drawings haven’t been under as much scrutiny is that the overwhelming majority aren’t purposefully provocative, though as usual, YMMV given how the mere mention of some of the supposedly “leftist” movements and ideologies is more than enough to set off a panic.
 
I’ll call it even when an image featuring a cop being brutally murdered is allowed to remain and is justified with calls of “S’just a joke bro, you mad?”. Until then, enough with that “Both sides” bullshit.
 
The rules are flexible enough to adapt to new situations as they arise and to address extreme cases without specifically targeting any one ideology in particular, I’d say that’s a win.
