It depends, it’s a very context dependent badge. 5-10 images/translations is about the minimum, that’s assuming the translations are pretty substantial and good quality. If you’re going to add translations in comments, remember to remove the “translation request” tag if it’s present, and to add “translated in comments”.

We can also add the translation to the description of some images, depending on who uploaded it, and after the value of the translation has been vetted. Those requests for translations to be added to descriptions is how we sometimes ID people who are doing those.

But - just a warning - with some languages Google or other forms of electronic translation are almost never good enough. Having some native skill or experience using a language in a daily setting is really important. Otherwise a lot of times - especially with comics - things are “lost in translation”.

So, i’ve already translated around 20 images. All of them are Spanish, i translated them to English.

Actually, the absolute best way to help us look through everything is if you add them to a new gallery, and give us the gallery link. That way we can see the images quick and easy.

Maybe I miss something but when ponies who drew thematic NLR vs SE arts will get their badges?

I don’t know. Someone from the tagging side of the team will have to review your tagging history, by hand, to see if you qualify for the badge.

Kinda neat it was brought up, as I was wondering if those Lunas I drew for the event would count toward one of the night badges (along with the ponifications). :)
