Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

I’ve slaughtered the Leviathan.
 
Now how the hell do I get out?

I got Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury for my birthday. Yeah, I’ve completed the original game back on the Wii U but I’m always down for playing 3D World again. I want to finish collecting ever achievement in Luigi’s Mansion 3 first.
 
This wasn’t the only game I got for my birthday. But as a pointless thing to announce, I, the hardcore Nintendo dork, have acquired my first non-Nintendo gaming system that isn’t a plug n’ play, a PlayStation 4. Never thought I would see the day but here we are. Along with it is Tetsuya Nomura-themed madness in the form of the Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.  
This system and the games are now added to my sad backlog of games I still have yet to play and hopefully these won’t be the only PS games I’ll own.

You never played D&D before, have you? If your character dies, you don’t restart at zero. You make a new character at the same level as the party and continue on.

I think I finally got the “FOOT DIVE” combo in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 figured out.

Scarlet Nexus demo was OK but i will probbaly be taking a pass on the game since the intro sequence that played at the end seemed really pushing a romance between the main characters, but ya’ll may want to give it a try,

I don’t have enough time and spare cash to spend on games that aren’t either dirt cheap, or have F/F main paring options,

That last part sounds very shallow. Imagine someone not giving the game a chance because there isn’t a M/F main character pairing option.

I would agree if that wasn’t something they can get almost anywhere, besides tons of people already do that, hell they bitch if there is any LGBT romances period optional or not,

I’ve been on the internet. Lesbian games/art/stories are a dime a gross. Gross is a term for 12 dozens, in case the term is more dated that I realize. And a set pairing does give the artist a better time to build a solid relationship between the two rather than the multiple choice option that can spread things thin. I have no interest in Life is Strange, but I wouldn’t use the leads being in a set F/F relationship as a reason why (like you are doing with a set M/F relationship).

I was kinda hoping you’d get a customizable main character like Code Vein, but oh well. I’ll probably get it later on during a sale.

Customizable is overrated in cases where the character looks good from the start and the RPG dress-up isn’t an element in the game.

And I’m sure if they were both females, would wouldn’t have any issue with their designs at all. If that wasn’t the case, than why would the leads not being a F/F relationship matter to you?

I mean short hair, wears black has a sword, intro makes a point of him showing up the female lead and plays it for romantic tension, sounds kind like Kirito to me TBH,

Also, I do doubt the “intro makes a point of him showing up the female lead,” considering your past comments on God of War, claiming that women looking at Kratos’s bulge and seducing him is rape in your mind indicates that you are overly sensitive about any sexual (and romantic in this case) interactions between men and women.

Again Kratos is a known homicidal maniac and in two of those cases the woman were enemies of his making it very clear they couldn’t offer legit consent by any reasonable measure,

Like people don’t ignore the crazy when they’re horny. And if they were cowarding in fear before giving the bedroom eyes, than you might had a point. But they go from “someone fell from the sky” straight to “want to rock our world, big boy?” with nothing in between. Is it dumb and feels like it’s there to show how “manly” Kratos is? Yes. Is it rape? No.
 
Japan seems to love the Red String of Destiny/Fate. It even saved the main girl in the Detective Conan movie, and is an item in Pokemon. I guess they enjoy that trope very much. And hearing you gripe about what you think the romance is going to be after your second complaint being that it’s not a F/F romance seems hypocritical.
