Pirate Invasions are no fucking joke.

Turns out the quest wasn’t glitched, it just didn’t tell me to place the amulet in a statue’s hand first. At least I can finish PoE.

Finally beat Portrait of Ruin, and moved on to the last of the Castlevania games on the DS, Order of Ecclesia.  
Also, I can now get to Hades himself fairly consistently, but unfortunately I still haven’t managed to beat him yet.

Out of all FFX characters I expect to make op, I didn’t expect it to be Yuna to become a powerful red mage.

I finally broke a -100 deep losing streak on Isaac with a successful greed run.

 
I know that feel.

PoE should be ready for me for tomorrow. I even made note of what quests I had left (and slained an ice dragon that gives you an achievement for doing so today).

I remember the style taking a dramatic turn in that game.

Five tries. It took five tries. But it is done. Hades has been vanquished.

In Dark Souls, it’s best to attack a boss or enemy after it’s attacked you, like a counter-puncher in boxing.
 
Bloodborne makes you take the fight to enemies and bosses.

Is this true for dark souls?

Good progress in PoE made today. I have all but one rank 3 bounty done (it’s in a location I haven’t been to yet), than it’s just the rank 4 bounties. I also finish Grieving Mother’s personal quest, and took care of a tyrant (as well as return him to Berath after he returned to sender) and solidified my claim to Caed Nua (with a shiny new ring to boot).

You know what I hate about old RPGs? They’re just solo D&D, which is boring. PoE at least has it’s own world and entities, where Balder’s Gate and Neverwinter Night just seems like a solo D&D campaign with a DM that railroads you all the time.
