Honestly, i think CA is gonna die either this year or next. All this bad PR and number of reivewers leaving is some pretty damming evidence that you do not want to be part of that site.

Don’t really know. I guess if anything has been bothering me lately (or just in general) about certain parts of the fanbase sometimes is the scorn some older fans have for younger ones, even though they’re the target audience. It doesn’t happen often but whenever I do see it happen, it just makes me upset.

I think they did good in separating drama posts from others.

Mod reasons is because they didn’t like those tags being added to non-drama related images, as it meant that users would only comment on the image to add fuel to the drama fire, instead of talking about the image.

IMO I think the tag should have stayed, but it does feel shitty that something not drama related suddenly has its comments turned into a giant bitchfest because of a bunch of dumb users.

WatchMojo recently did a video on the Top 10 Toxic Cartoon Show Communities, which features bronies at #7. Not only do they go for the low-hanging fruit (i.e. bronies are disgusting because they draw porn), but they also mention DWM in a sympathetic light and show a screencap of Gianna DeCarlo’s infamous anti-brony article. And to top it all off, they refer to Pinkie Pie as “Pink Pie”, indicating whoever wrote the list doesn’t know very much about the show. On the bright side, it is pretty low on the list (with Teen Titans Go, Gravity Falls, The Loud House, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Steven Universe, and Rick and Morty beating it out), and isn’t nearly as mean to the fandom as other media outlets have been.

I’m sadly not too surprised to hear all of that, including the fandoms that beat it, especially given that I’m also into those shows (minus Teen Titans Go and Rick and Morty). Which were the ones that came before? (I kind of don’t want to be bothered to watch the video.)
