Back in my day PS1 and 2 were king, if you were a cool kid your PS1 was chipped and pirated games came with selectable cheats before the game booted.

That reminds me, I still have a modded PS2 since I got it from my Grandma years ago and then my brother took it to put the chip in it to play pirated DVD games.

In fact I have both the 2 and 3.

How if the PlayStation is becoming a laughing stock or punching bag nowadays because of the PS5. Hell, they say it has no games even if there’s Astro Bot, Street Fighter 5, Tekken 8, Spider-Man from Insomniac, etc?

Walmart sucks. I try not to go there unless I have no other choice.

I saw a video talking about how Cocomelon is an evil company designed to keep children hooked and addicted and blamed for developmental delays on kids. Be that as it may, I for the most part blame the parents of these children for giving them iPads at such a young age and not moderating what they watch, and in general for not acting like responsible parents. It’s the exact same arguments I’ve heard from parents blaming cartoons for rotting their kids minds in the 80’s and of course the whole “video games cause violence” approach.

The thing is that it’s not just Cocomelon - every tech company these days is running the same game, even on platforms geared towards adults.

Sony making dumbass decisions doesn’t mean people don’t like PlayStation. People can talk about “not having games” all they want but the PS5 is still selling well

Because toys are nowhere as harmful or addictive as cellphones and social media are.

Yeah, it’s clearly the platform’s fault. Not the fact you essentially abandon the kid or that you are not a source of emotional support for him or even the fact you cannot even at least take the weekend to learn parental control options./s

Dammit! It’s those same parents’ fault as well why YouTube Kids was made. Now we can’t comments on anything cartoons and even cartoons adults also watch because of them. 😡

I get what they’re saying and they do raise good points in that article, but I don’t know if I can fully believe in it. Not denying that tech companies, like almost every other company will do anything and everything for exposure and money.

Yeah, YouTube Kids is one of the worst decisions the platform has made in a river of a lot of them.

Bane was actually the good guy in The Dark Knight Rises. An antihero certainly, but still the good guy.
All he wanted to do was bring justice to Gotham, and Batman had to ruin it.

He would have killed innocents in the process, most of them civilians who likely were also brutalized by the convicts Bane freed during his takeover, not to mention how he has no sympathy by the people who just want to leave Gotham. Plus, flawed as their plans were, Batman and Gordon did managed to keep crime at bay while Bane is little more than a dogmatic that doesn’t care about the improvements, the dead boss said something must die regardless of the improvements so be it.

Bane is an asshole plain and simple.

That said I absolutely can’t stand the use of They/them pronouns.

not because of the identity but because of the grammar nightmare that using those words as pronouns creates. with all of the other exipronouns I can generally follow along with what your typing out. but with they them it just creates too many sentence breakdowns.
