There was a
lot that prevented the Ghostbusters movie reboot from succeeding, especially in how it was turned political and the smear campaign pulled by Sony towards anyone who criticized the movie. Especially in how old fans were mocked and villainized. There was also many criticisms that can be leveled at Teen Titans Go!, which are often more then far.
The Ducktales reboot has from what I can see been met with great praise, with a lot of effort being put into it in connection to the old show as well the comics. Also, seeing the pilot myself I thought it was pretty amazing. The new Ducktales is how to do a reboot right and the writers for Teen Titans Go! should take notes.
The Tick series also looks promising, for the six episodes that I have seen currently out. It keeps true to the heart and spirit of the show, with the superhero itself with the message taken from it even more relevant in a time where heroes have become darker and more willing to kill or use tactics which can be seen as villainous.
If you mean the Disney live action reboots, I will give you that. Yet for myself personally, none of the reboots have really stood out as good let alone better than the original classics. With many I feel falling short or being even worse. Some things that I liked, I enjoyed. While other details annoyed, confused, frustrated, and/or disappointed me.
