I’m convinced at this point that Seth MacFarlane has been actively trying to kill the show for years by making it worse and worse every season. He’s hinted that he himself no longer enjoys working on the show and wants it to end.

I still like Family Guy :/

Why are Bay’s Transformer movies still popular, even though they made explosions and action scenes dull and boring at this point?

It’s popular because it appeals to the lowest common denominator. The kind of people that don’t need or want their entertainment to be held to a certain standard.
 
It’s flashy, bombastic, and simplistically easy to follow. The movie equivalent of snack food.

The mustache should make a comeback.

I wouldn’t know. I don’t keep track of current fashion trends. I’m a guy with late ‘60s Jim Morrison hair and sideburns who regularly wears an old denim vest, for god’s sake.

Out of all the YouTube alternatives out there, I think Vidme is the most overrated; it’s not even as good as people say it is.

It’s really slow compared to YouTube. Though, I can give it being a newborn video streaming website as an excuse.

It doesn’t even have very good monetization options, and its DMCA takedowns are just as bad as YouTube.

What happens if you make a site that doesn’t do DMCA takedowns?

The site is then open to direct law suits and no longer falls under “safe harbor” rules.

What if there are DMCA takedowns but the site makes it really hard to do one?

Same thing, they could open themselves up to lawsuits. The DMCA is flawed, but powerful and far reaching.

And maybe shove “fair use” literally everywhere?
