The best defense against a gun, is your own gun. Most people are helplessly unarmed, leaving the one who is armed with all the power of life or death. Even in countries with strict arms laws, like the UK and Canada, weapon related crimes occur too often. People need some way to defend themselves.

The point is, USA have more Gun Shops than Mexico. A person can buy it one and kill someone the next day

Okay here’s the immediate logical fallacy of the whole, “the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun” idea; Al Qaeda, you know that fucking thug terrorist group that goes around attacking schools and blowing up buildings? Guess where they got their guns from? America; we gave them the guns they’re using to fight us with cause during the cold war we supplied them guns. The number of instances where groups that countries are trying to stop having guns that were given to them that same group is shockingly high.
 
The simplest solution is to just not manufacture guns for civilians or to give them to foreign countries. Sure there will always be countries that allow the production of guns for civilian use and there will always, BUT the whole idea of giving out guns like it’s christmas in the deep south would be like a police department trying to cut down on crime by giving everyone machine guns and rocket launchers then being surprised when shit hits the fan.
 
The reason why people hate the usa, russia and such is we go, “YOU GET A GUN! YOU GET A GUN! EVERYONE’S GETTING GUNS!” and then act surprised when people actually use them. If russia had just kept to their fucking self the syria war would not be happening right now, cause that’s where syria got most of their weaponry.
 
If the whole, “the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun” idea was true then why not just give out rocket launchers instead? After all the only thing that could stop a bad guy with a rocket launcher is a good guy with a rocket launcher.
 

 
Or better yet give everyone Davy Crocketts; after all the only thing that could stop a bad guy with a rocket launcher with a nuclear warhead would be a good guy with a nuclear rocket launcher. Just give out Davy Crocketts to every civilian, that will solve crime right?
 
 
Oh and side note: Whether or not a country allows guns has ZERO effect on crime rate. So if the usa banned all guns for civilian use that would have no effect on crimerate.

yea. Guns don’t affect crime rates either way.
 
However, the purpose of an armed citizenry is to defend against tyranny.  
Granted, in sheer power the citizenry won’t be able to match the military but it really doesn’t have to.  
It just has to be enough to make the soldier’s misgivings about shooting their own civilians they enlisted to defend enough to not follow orders.

banning guns for that reason strikes me as throwing the baby out with the bathwater.  
Solution: crack the fuck down and secure the border if you don’t want violence to boil over.
 
And no, I’m not saying keep the Brown people out but a border needs to be secured to mean anything.
